Famous Bar, the newest bar in the Sunee area, will be having a party on Thursday, August 26th starting at 8PM and going on to wee small hours of the morning.

 

It's located on Soi VC a little further away from the beach than the old Look Boy's Club/Playboys.

 

The occasion is the birthday party for Lita, the owner.

 

There will be a substantial free buffet. I'm told the eats at the Grand Opening party was excellent so you're in for a real treat above and beyond standard bar fare.

 

Famous is a ladyboy bar, not to everyone's taste. But for those who have been curious about this new bar, it is a good opportunity to pop in and check it out.

 

All are invited, Lita asked me to post the info on various forums.

Thanks for posting the info. It would be really nice if all owners would post up coming events. Some of us rely on the PG Weekly report that TJ is nice enough to remind us about. The report however has changed format and not as informative as before.

 

I hope all of us will post events when we know of them.

Although Lita speaks good English, I get the impression that her written English is not up to prep school standards and that she also may be a bit challenged by internet technology.

 

She has built up a loyal following as the manager of EZY bar, so some customers are pleased to be able to help her out. I'm not sure why more Thai owners don't ask friendly farangs to help out with promotion.

Surely I do NOT understand why the business owners do not

take advantage of the 5 gay Thailand related forums now on the web.

 

I do try to share what I learn and see...

but so many businesses are still in business...

despite the slow season...

and should be promoting their specials, events, staff,

birthdays, and such...on the gay boards.

 

It will bring in more customers...a win-win for all.

They don't take advantage of the internet because they are not savvy to good advertising. The same reason they do things that drive customers away...they don't know any better.

Because they're not exactly the brightest entrepreneurs around... Some of them have taken some initiative but most are haphazard or do nothing at all.
