A fellow farang was concerned during a recent visa run, since he was one day overstay.. I thought it was no problem as when I overstayed one day before, flying out of the country and there was no charge..

 

But, I learned that if it is a land crossing, you must pay 500B. even for the first day..Message is don't overstay even one day unless you don't mind paying ...
