Pook Bar on Soi BuaKhao

Featured Replies

I have passed Pook Bar so many times that last night I wanted to stop in for a drink. The bar is very well done with tons of dancing ladyboys and lots of customers. The drink prices are cheaper than any of the gay bars. There was no pressure to buy the gals a drink. The ladyboys seemed to be having fun and loved dancing and showing off. All in all, I would say there are about 40 plus ladyboys there last night. They have raised platforms that you can see from the road and the place is very comfortable to just sit and relax.

May I ask the nature of the clients at this bar? Is it for farang or for Thai? And is it well attended? I have been to only one ladyboy bar in Pattaya and that was Famous which was the first and last time. Just curious. And where is it on Soi Buakow?

I saw both Farang and Thai but I assume it was meant for a Farang clientele. I have driven by the place for years and always seen Farangs inside. When I went, I was treated well and it never crossed my mind they didn't open the place just for me. :)
