Beach gang assault and rob British tourist

A British man was beaten and robbed in front of Mike Shopping Mall in the early hours of April 7....

 

Police know the identities of all the gang members. Most of them work in gay bars. After work they act as pimps controlling young prostitutes who sell their services along the beach, and rob foreigners, using the money to go out on the town.

This happened a 3.45 AM. The guy should be smarter and not hang around this way alone in the middle of the night. Wonder what he was looking for anyway....

Sorry he was beat up , that's not right. Was he gay or not ? did not see it mentioned....

I have once in my whole time in Thailand, stayed out late till the early morning.. And I did not feel really comfortable walking down the street. Probably being tall and young prevented some guys to get to me as they were many looking at me in a strange way. But still size and age doesn't matter here so I was lucky not to get in trouble.
