Sorry, I was busy last several days and did not check the board. I have got a letter from

my London broker that they are closing all US persons accounts (including Americans living overseas). Some time ago I discussed new US law (which was adopted as a part of so-called HIRE ACT) which imply that pretty much all American offshore accounts are in danger of being closed. This is just a beginning. Let me mention that some US brokerages allow to transfer foreign brokerage accounts to them. I am trying to arrange such a transfer at the moment. Another option is total liquidation of all positions which is clearly highly inconvenient.
