Has anyone been to the Tawan Bar "post coup"? There was a comment on another website that a few months ago the boys were forced to abondon their G strings and briefs and were wearing rather unedifying boxer shorts. Can anyone comment from recent experience and what is the current standard of boy there.

There's been no change I know of since the coup. You're likely to find a few guys who are really pumped up as there's a competition in Lopburi around Loy Krathong that several are entering. Last time I was in some were wearing undies with slits on the side, but still black and not the best. I heard tonight they're having a 'handome man' contest.
