President Donald Trump ousted Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem from her role on March 5, announcing on social media that she would be replaced and become special envoy for the Shield of the Americas, the president's initiative for security against narcotics trafficking in the Western Hemisphere.

This is kinda like what Trump did with Kimberly Guilfoile, inventing a foreign embassadorship for her and shipping her overseas.....

The timing was confusing that Trump announced Noem's new special envoy role, before she spoke in Nashville.  She must have known by then.  Not long afterwards she announced a prepared statement about serving in the new role.

Elsewhere, her husband attended committee meetings in the House and Senate this week.  Must have been tense for him when House members brought up the report that Noem was having an affair with a subordinate.  Perhaps they have an open relationship.  Maybe a throuple!

Sounds like her Senate testimony sealed her fate, especially when Senator Kennedy asked about contracts and costs.  It almost seemed contrived or planned, that this was how Trump would have no choice but to fire her.

Noem's new position will be the Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas. So, this made up position as well as a questionable DHS ad campaign costing $220,000,000. Where is DOGE when you need it?
