She must have known by then. Not long afterwards she announced a prepared statement about serving in the new role. Elsewhere, her husband attended committee meetings in the House and Senate this week. Must have been tense for him when House members brought up the report that Noem was having an affair with a subordinate. Perhaps they have an open relationship. Maybe a throuple! Sounds like her Senate testimony sealed her fate, especially when Senator Kennedy asked about contracts and costs. It almost seemed contrived or planned, that this was how Trump would have no choice but to fire her. Quote
