June 7, 201115 yr Many of us have met on one occasion or another. For those in Pattaya, it is a very small community and many seem to know each other. I suggest on your next trip to just PM a few members and meet them for drinks. You will be amazed at how nice and wonderful many posters are in person.

June 7, 201115 yr I have met only one of my fellow posters here - once. But through posting, I feel as though I have come to know quite a few. I have lived in Bangkok for 10 years. Having been based in other parts of Asia since 1979, I visited Thailand several times a year before then. Please do not be intimidated. If there is anything you wish to ask, please do so and us old timers will happily try and help. If you disagree with anything we said/posted, civilised discussion - and even argument - is always welcome.
