April 28, 200620 yr I've heard that lately the wait for a phone line in Jomtien is about 6 months. This doesn't bother me since I prefer using a mobile anyway. Also, you don't need a phone line to get connected to the internet. I've been connected for almost a year now and it's usually fine.

I am preparing an article on my struggle for the Internet. I have a satellite on order for next week and will report back. What is your experience?
April 28, 200620 yr Satellite, no struggle. ip-star, works fine. If I ever get a phone put in I'll probably switch, but for now I'm happy.
