One of the most beautiful festivals in Thailand occurs this weekend. It is a beautiful event. I had friends last year that spent it in Chiang Mai and had a fabulous time. Stef and I spent it in Pattaya last year and loved it.

 

If you want to see the best place for the festival, be sure to book your favorite chairs on Jomptien beach as they are selling tickets for the food part of the evening now. I had friends last year that didn't get to sit where they wanted because they waited too long and the tickets were sold out.

You could hear the fireworks last night. They will be even louder tonight. If you haven't got a ticket yet, get to the beach to buy one. It is a great evening for all!

Here are some photos of Loy Krathong at Jomptien Beach. I am sorry they are not as good as last year's pics. Stef, our photographer is in Vegas. I took some pics for about 20 min and then I enjoyed the event myself. I hope you get a little idea of what fun the event is. I love watching the Thais with the fireworks. They seem to really love it.

Those Picture's are wonderful, for some reason I know every one there, I must say you look wonderful your tan is so good in picture 5 (my eyes are not that good are you laying on the beach chair, dear?) with all that listening to people on the beach gaythailand.
