Guest-friendly hotel recommendations for Mexico City

I some mixed advice in this thread: CDMX Accommodations

Is anyone familiar with hotels in Mexico City that allow guests up after checking ID? Preferably without me having to be there in the lobby (maybe they call my room)?

Sheraton María Isabel. Great location and just a few steps from Zona Rosa.

But keep in mind that in most of CDMX hotels, elevators are not working without your room key.

There were still some hidden gems of hotels in Zona Rosa that didn't require room keys to access elevators but that's gone now. Up until a year ago, Hotel NH Reforma didn't have key cards for elevator. If you check any of the large hotels with big lobbies close to the Revolucion monument and Alameda park, they still have elevators without key cards and they don't ask for ids at the front desk with the exception of Hilton Reforma.
