They were most likely not His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) or His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX), as both were still very young and living in Switzerland at that time. ChatGPT suggests they could possibly have been from the Sukhumbhand / Paribatra or Rangsit / Prayoonsak family lines, which included boys of that age who often took part in palace ceremonies.

Interesting, but definitely not the future Kings 8 and 9. Here's a photo of the two princes - ice skating at the Arosa Kulm Hotel in Switzerland. The future King Bhumiphol is on the left, wearing glasses, and his brother, the future King Rama 8 is on the right. The man in the photo is a hotel staff member, and the woman is the private tutor of the two princes.
