Depending on selected days, return flights between Bangkok and Singapore can be as low as Bt. 2,689 inclusive of taxes and extras – by far the lowest on this route. Tiger Airways lowest fare is more than double this.

Hear of any plans to fly from Chiang Mai also???

The carrier only starts up at the beginning of June with very few routes. For Thailand, only SIN/BKK/SIN has been announced so far,

air asia also flies-am pretty sure have paid less as that for a no-frills flight and JET** Singapore.

BTW- PGHIllippine AirAsia seems to be banned by the EU-so expect loads+more of anxius remarks and questions about perceived unsafetiness.

That may well be the case with the free tickets on offer from time to time or very special low price promotions. But Air Asia's basic fares are certainly considerably more expensive.

The EU ban has covered all Philippines airlines, including the national carrier, for quite some time now. It's not new. Philippines Air Asia has just started up, and is exclusively short haul; so would not be affected. But if Air Asia as a whole is affected by association, I will shed no tears!!
