The senators involved have discussed immediate new restrictions such as an income limit, as well as more sweeping changes kicking in the second year, including expanding the use of health savings accounts. Angus King (I-Maine), who has been involved with the talks, appeared optimistic about the chances of a deal, telling reporters Wednesday he expected to receive text later in the day. “I think we’re very close,” said King, who caucuses with Democrats. “We have a solid bipartisan group, and hopefully we can move the bill once we get through this budget situation.” If I had to bet right now I would bet that Democrat Sherrod Brown will take back the Ohio Senate seat Moreno took from him in 2024. Moreno rode a wave of anti-Bidenflation and anti-Harrus/them-ism to defeat a true working class advocate like Brown. Brown will probably ride Trump's trail of broken promises on prices and Trump's cruelty back to power. But Moreno got the memo. He is no dumb dog. He's fighting for all the moderate Republicans who are on the cusp of political suicide in November. This would be good news for the working class, if they can make a deal. So, @Barknaway, I know you are good and loyal and true. I know your Master and King may be a bit upset about this. It's a free country. So feel free to bark all you want, you loud and noisy pup. We love you. It's cute. But please do not BITE or KILL RINOs like Moreno or Independents like King. I know your King may not like this. But it is bad, @Barknaway.
