I have gotten an e-mail from some who can't log into the site or the forums. I apologize for this. I am in touch with the programmers and as soon as they start work on Monday morning they are going to look into this and try to find a solution. Thank you for your patience.

Just testing to see if I can post. No problems logging in (although I still have no idea why you have that "keep me logged in" little button as I've always had to log in every time I come to the site).

This has been a maddening experience with this new board software. I never saw so many glitches at one time at one sitting. It looked hopeless and made me very angry. If I had programmed software that looked and behaved the way it did for me early this morning, I would have been fired on the spot.

 

The only reason I am able to post at all now is because I am using Google Chrome instead of Safari. I am still expecting a lot more glitches and not convinced yet that everything is working properly. My private mails are all gone, but I can live with that.

 

Part of the reason I was so upset is that I consider this to be a very fine board. I have had high expectations for it and the membership has been largely civil, polite and respectful. (Unlike me at times).

 

Owners, please understand-- I just don't have the time and the patience to do beta testing. At one point in my day, I was ready to throw this computer out the window. After all the threads about bugs on this board, for it to go so haywire, appeared as if everything went from bad to worse. I have never encountered this many hiccups on any other board yet to date.

 

I hope this exasperating dilemma will soon be over and perhaps my documented emails to you have helped pave the way for others to log in and use the board. Mebbe this has in some small way achieved some preventive measure for the users who proceeded after me. I'd like to think so.

 

i look up to GayThailand.com as a beacon of knowledge and unfortunately for me, it is a long way down to fall from that lofty pedestal. Here's hoping the gum is removed from cogs and wheels and it is now a well-oiled machine.

You have not been through as many software changes as I have I guess. I see it all the time. It is very common. Luckily, you didn't have to get fired. Just think of it like a magic trick. If one of your tricks doesn't work at a party, does that mean you should get fired? No, shit happens and we deal with it.

 

I say this as I also use Grindr a great deal in the USA and everytime they update my software it has glitches. I was in West Hollywood last week and I had 4 messages but unable to respond. I was not happy but I just waited a day or two and tried again. It is just part of the way sites are done. You can't compare this site to the other Gay Thailand boards as they are Message Boards and not thousands of pages of code. It is not the same.

 

I had issues today as well. I waited a few hours and I was able to log in. It sounds like you and I both had the same issue: Safari

 

I hate you had problems Thaiworthy but I am sure all issues will be resolved as fast as possible.

I am the same. I don't wish to be permanently logged in. Equally, I'd prefer not to have to type in my log-in name every time. What happened to the "Remember Me" box?
