This interview with Trump's former National Security Advisor, now one of Trump's biggest critics, is one of the best explanations I have heard of why Iranians who want democracy are fucked. Basically, Bolton says, it is not even on Trump's radar. He is just throwing out words about how Iranians should magically rise up with no weapons. And defeat up to 1 million pro-regime authoritarians armed with guns. To take a trip down memory lane, when Bolton started going after Trump years ago, Trump responded by saying Bolton is a warmonger who wanted World War III. Except now Trump is in fact doing some version of what Bolton wanted. But he is doing it poorly, with no strategy, Bolton says. The part Bolton focuses on is the part no one can see. If Trump really wanted regime change, there are all kinds of things he'd be doing behind the scenes with people Bolton knows well. None of that is happening. Bolton's explanation is that Trump is stupid, basically. He does not do planning. He does not do strategy. He has impulses. He thinks he is the guy who will solve the problem no else could solve. How that works, who knows? But he's Donald Trump, so he always wins! When I heard Trump call on Iranians to rise up, it seemed liked a particularly cruel and cynical thing to do. These loyal Trumpians are the people who believe, perhaps correctly, that Iran just killed 30,000 of its own unarmed citizens who were protesting. If you believe that, it's not hard to believe they'll kill 100,000 people next time if needed. You have no plan, you just managed to get a hardliner in place who says, "Fuck you" after you killed his entire family, and you expect that somehow this will magically work out? It's incredibly cruel. To take it one step further, there are loyal Trumpians who are disavowing Colin Powell's "you break it, you bought it" concept. Meaning we can go break any fucking thing we want in Iran, and it is not OUR fault. Sorry, Iranians. You tolerated this cruel regime. So if we have to blow up your infrastructure and kill your daughters - which we deny doing even though it is obvious we did - that is YOUR fault. You don't get democracy. And you don't even get water and electricity. We'll blow that up, too. Oh, and by the way. We are the good guys who are here to help. It makes perfect sense to me that next time they will kill 100,000 Jewish babies. They will gladly slit the throats of Jewish babies open to avenge what Israel and America did to them. Meanwhile, American Moms wake up every morning more worried about gas prices than about an Iranian or American missile hitting the school their daughter attends. This is why Trump is fucked. He is a war criminal who should be tried for war crimes. He is going to make Iranians hate Americans and Jews. Gingrich WARNS Iran war will be American ‘DEFEAT’ if this happens I'll end my rant with this sad interview. It's almost touching to see Larry Kudlow ejaculating in public about how he just has to believe in his MAGA heart or hearts that Americans will rise up in support of Trump's War Of The Week, even if it means a little bit higher gas prices. That is what these true believers really think. Of course we are the good guys. We have to be. We have no plan, we kill your daughters, and we lie about it. Doesn't that make us good? To his credit, even an ideologue like Newt Gingrich tries to talk Kudlow down from his fantasy ejaculation. People do not want to pay higher gas prices to fund Trump's Ego and War Of The Week. (My words, not Newt's.) They care about gas prices, not what Bibi The Baby Killer wants. Gingrich is of course right. He understands that Trump is much more likely to lose this than to win. Even though Trump will declare victory, no matter what happens. The Iranian people Trump wants to help, and Kudlow believes we are helping, will be the losers. It makes perfect sense that with no strategy other than, "Bomb the fuck out of them," the worst elements of the theocracy and revolutionary guards would band together and dig in. Now they have. They will rebuild. China and Russia will be glad to help. The next predictable thing is when the bombs stop they will lash out at Americans and Jews, violently. God bless America! They have already tried to assassinate him once, but now after Trump has killed the majority of their govt, they certainly have a bigger ax to grind now.
