That is exactly what The Great Incompetent wants you to think.  He feeds on disillusionment. He feeds on declarations of defeat.  

I think that The Great Incompetent has crash the economy on purpose.  When people are fearful they are more open to being manipulated by fear. Nothing provides more joy to a narcissist than manipulating others and feed off their fear.
