BY: ANDREW COLTON | Editor and Publisher | GREENACRES, FL — Nine people are presumed dead after their Learjet crashed into a mobile home in Greenacres, near Military Trail and North 10th Avenue mid-day Sunday. BocaNewsNow.com broke the story as first responders arrived on the scene.

The FAA Sunday afternoon confirmed to BocaNewsNow.com that nine people were on board the Learjet 60 that had departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and was en route to North Eleuthera Airport at the time of the crash. Public tracking data seemingly vanished from airplane tracking services within 30 minutes of the crash. The tail number is registered to a private LLC based in Delaware.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue took more than an hour to release any information to the public. That led to rumors swirling online that missiles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, just a short distance from the crash site, struck and destroyed the plane. There is no indication — at all — that this rumor is reality, but is seemingly a direct result of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue keeping information private until well after photos, videos, and rumors circulated online. Even as of 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue has said very little about the crash scene.
