October 3, 201213 yr I went to Sunee Plaza last night and had a nice time. First, drinks at a few beer bars including Corner Bar. The boys had a good time playing pool and the drinks were cheap. Nice Boys was crowded with sexy guys and lots of eye candy. We stayed in there over an hour as we really loved seeing what was on stage and the boys were entertaining. We peeked inside some other gogos and they looked like they had a nice group as well but we didn't have time to partake in any of the offerings. All in all, a very enjoyable night in the Plaza!
October 4, 201213 yr Author New and different staff at CB or same same? I am not sure what was there before to be honest as I have not been there since Michael and Thomas owned the bar.
October 4, 201213 yr Regarding Corner Bar, I posted the following on my board: After having been closed and shuttered up for months, with "For Sale" signs on it, Corner Bar has reopened. However, it's the same owners as before - the Belgian couple - Ginnette and Eddy. At least it's Ginnette. We saw her there this evening, but didn't see Eddy. One of the boys who had worked there previously told us the reason they were closed was due to the low season, but they wanted to sell it if they could. One theory as to why they've reopened is because it is our understanding that when a Sunee Plaza bar remains closed and unsold for a specified period of time (I don't know how long), then the lease reverts back to Madame Sunee and she would be entitled to lease it out to someone else. I imagine the bar is still for sale, but that is only a guess on my part. For whatever reason, now Corner Bar is open again. I posted a message for Michael (Crabby) to see if he could confirm and explain the above, about the lease reverting back to Madame Sunee. Maybe that is an option in the contract, although I don't know why she would want to take back a lease, it the above turns out to be correct, if the tenant is still paying rent. I have not yet heard back from Michael. Regarding Euro Boys, the bar next door - Eden Bar - has bought out Euro Boys and is expected to reopen within the next ten days. The reason for the delay is they are in the process of recruiting go-go boys.
