Just a reminder for those travelling between BKK and Kuala Lumpur or Ho Chi Minh. If you book a couple of months or more ahead, Lufthansa has excellent fares – Bt. 4,475 inclusive return to KL and Bt. $4,420 return to Ho Chi Minh. These fares are non-refundable, offer 23kg baggage allowance, meal/snack service, plus 50% mileage.

LH flies BKK/KUL on Mon/Wed/Thu/Sat and BKK/SGN Tue/Fri/Sun. Flights depart BKK in the afternoons and from KUL and SGN mid-evenings.

I notice this morning that the Lufthansa home page lists special Asian deals at Bt. 4,800/Bt. 4,900. So I rechecked dates in April and May and they are still the lesser fares I quoted in the first post above. The aircraft used on the route is a 747-400.
