The last time I spoke with Punya, about three weeks ago, he said that he is hoping to open by the end of November. That, he said, depends on whether the workers complete their tasks on schedule. He said Thai people have just as many problems getting quality, on-schedule work completed as "farang" do. Perhaps someone else has spoken with Punya more recently.
November 15, 200619 yr I have made contact and was told that the sauna will open at some point in December. It will not be ready before then and they hope it will be near the beginning of December.

November 15, 200619 yr They should call it the Airport Spa, given its history thus far. Frankly, I have trouble projecting a Babylon-type Spa being successful in Pattaya. It's bad enough having to watch the same old expats and sno-birds running around Dongtan beach with their bellies hanging over the Speedos. Can you imagine rubbing elbows with them naked . . . and indoors !
