Thanksgiving (USA) is coming and I can not find Yams (or Sweet Potato) at Friendship, Foodland or Tops in Pattaya. I am sure I have seen and bought either the canned or fresh version before...but I don't seem to be able to now. Any shopper in Pattaya know where I can find them now?

I believe that you can buy sweet potato at the Thai indoor food market opposite Wat Chaimongkol/Central Apartments on Pattaya Tai. However, I have also been told that these are NOT what an American calls sweet potato. You can but go and see but perhaps someone else has better info !

go to your local fresh market thats where all the thais buy theere veg ect

Yams are usually available in any of the Thai markets and at Tesco/Lotus, South Pattaya.
