you will inevitably be making comparisons to Brasil in your head if not out loud (I do), lol PROS Thailand: More guys speak some basic English, accommodations cheaper, transportation cheaper, food cheaper, AMAZING massages, more places & options...disco, go-go, massage, sauna, host bars, safer late night, drinks are more $$$, long flights are good for airline mileage status. PROS BRASIL: BIG cocks (I've become a size queen admittedly) , AMAZING sex 99.999% of the time, rates are cheaper for programmas, Churrascarias ..... I have fun in both places.....drink more in Thailand, better sex in Brasil. Guys in Thailand view foreigners more as an ATM, in Brasil they see us as customer or a friend. MANY westerners live in Thailand and are almost cult like about Thailand and many different nationalities......many not friendly at all. These are my opinions.....be interested what your perception is after your visit.

I've been going to Cuba for over 20 yrs......if you're going for sex, all the cute guys have left the island,lol really, the scene has changed so much.....its golden days have passed, imho if you're going for music, rum, dancing....go....is not expensive and you'll have fun.

I met a guy last night at Golden Cock, CEO of this region for a LARGE western company. Even with his money (could tell by his clothes, ring, watch) he isn't cheap. He has lived in Asia for 25 years and we discussed negotiating prices at these bars....he has it down firm and even cheaper than my prices. I'm in infrequent poster here, usually only check in when I know I'll be heading this way to see if anything has changed. Been coming here 1-4 times a year for 18 ys, have traveled quite a bit, mostly here, Cuba, Brasil, Mexico & S. America. On another board we used to have get together's in Rio that were fun but that was a long time ago but I made some incredible friends. Fun sex and party stuff... What was it like in Thailand, the mourning.....??? I was in Cuba when Fidel died and there was a mandatory mourning of 9 days, no partying, no music, no alcohol....was quite boring.

Going to be in Thailand during this time....is one place better than the other for this weekend....and why? I was planning on Pattaya , then I figured this out...always happens when I'm traveling, I miss certain events/things to do because I didn't realize what was going on.....like the foam party at Babylon. Going to BKK for a month in Jan-Feb and would like some advice on other good places to go....not cultural but for night/bed fun. I've been to PP Cambodia (was ok), Taiwan, China, Pattaya, Chiang Mai. I'm looking for someplace that will be inexpensive to go to/from within Thailand or closeby. A German friend that lives in BKK (for MANY years) says he doesn't go to gogo bars or Discos gets all his hookups on apps....he said I'd like Ubon. Any input/ideas/suggestions? Thanks

I hardly check this site much anymore..... But (remember, this is my opinion).... Cuba sucks now.... I was there before, during and after the death of Fidel.....Like Tom Said, been going FAITHFULLY for about 15-17 yrs. I've dealt with all the shit that goes on there that doesn't happen any other place in the world.....but think I had my last trip. I understand not every guy will be my type....but recognize when someone is cute, handsome or attractive in some other way....they have mostly left to Spain, s. America, etc... since Cuba did away with the Carta Blanca (the exit permit) a few years back. Even walking the streets during the day, I am hard pressed to find someone that I think is cute. Sex use to be a guaranteed success....now you're lucky if they can get hard and boy are they full of excuses. Granted $20 is still cheap, but by the time they empty out your fridge and have ideas of going shopping through your closet for what they like.....just gets tiring and old. Plus the police crack downs WHENEVER they feel like it. If anyone has been on this board or the old Hoo Boy site will know I was always praising Cuba.....those days are gone. I'm pretty well known around town, to waiters, bartenders (don't pay for drinks at the Hotel Nacional), taxi drivers, police....the boys come and go....many have died (HIV is more rampant than they would let on) For price, availability, variety and horniness, there are many places in Mexico I prefer....Brasil is just so damn expensive, getting there, taxis, sauna entrances, restaurants,apartments or hotels.....I LOVE Brasil but the per diem is too high for me. Thailand is fun too, but it is on the other side of the world, boys charge more than Brasil or Mexico....is a big world, a friend was just in Santiago, DR and has been raving about it.

Any recommendations ? I did this years ago but don't remember with which place. I wrote a top rated place on Tripadvisor and their rates seem high and don't include transportation. Can't believe TomCal said he'd go with me.....
