because reading your post I also imagined them standing in the lobby in Adam's suit which was kind of easy considering I actually had massages with quite a few arena boys , not to mention few long time offs as well

You kept money in your rucksack on the street ? That's brave. I did this many years ago in Iran , exchange rate was ~ 8100 for one USD and highest denomination was 10000. I exchanged 200 USD and received more than 320 5000 rials banknotes, no pocket would hold that so I kept money in my back pack , only time in my life feeling I have bags of money. From what I know now similar situation is in Uzbekistan

yes, balding overweight farang would be better companion in such a case then 21 y.o. boy from one of bars although if you explain what your goal is and compensate boy properly I don't think he would be jealous. Just make sure he knows he still has some place in your pocket

I'm not sure it's always but I suspect at least very often and not only in bars but also I massage places as well which would explain why in some places minimum tip is considerably higher than in others. While ago I noticed that one of boys from now defunct FanClub was still on the Senso website so at next opportunity I asked him why he left. He did not like mamasan extracting 200 baht from him after every massage although he admitted he was busier there than in the new place. At end of day this is between boys and mamasans and we clients should stay out of that issue.

Man hunting in Bangkok - report of trip of June 2016
vinapu replied to vinapu's topic in Gay Thailand
I'm glad you liked it. Yes I did, I was taught at home to take vacations seriously and don't waste time for stupid things like doing noting. Still think Dec 2015 trip was my best ever to LOS, all odd 5.5 out of 5 or better. Smile at boys at Tawan and Arena from me ! -
relax , not in the lobby ,but yes, in the room they will undress and have shower with you I'd be surprised if you will not like there
-
and / or find some member who will accompany you there. ChristianPFC was once threatened with knife there if I recall but it was not because place is dangerous but it seems boy was holding some grudge against him . May be he will chip in with more info as I vaguely remember cause.

I think it''s not about disciplining that waiter but rather about letting all of them know what potentially may upset client whether he is right or not. 1. That happens in all service industries, sometimes it seems that with some clients you will never win, even if you kiss their ass they will still complain about the lipstick's color. But still it may be worthwhile to know what may cause a problem , even if unreasonable. /very recent example from my workplace - client complained about fire extinguisher being very unsightly, which it is but but it's very nature must be very visible and accessible. With every word she seemed more and more agitated, staff did not want to offend her by responding back , fortunately one of clients present stepped in and told her you know what / 2.That is annoying but old truth 'if something can't be done find somebody who doesn't know it , and he will do it" sometimes may be applicable. I think either you or Michael one commented on how BoyzBoyzBoyz turned around from near disaster to being in opinion of at least one person / it would be me / best bar in the whole LOS. So obviously one owner did not know what to do and next one did.

Brilliant idea as it merges both worlds, old fashioned and tech one. Speaking about safe boxes I need to digress with lesson for all of us. When departing Raya last December I was witness of great commotion on reception by a farang who loudly accused staff of plundering some money / he used exact figure but I don't remember / from his safety deposit box using in his opinion a key which only manager should have. This is not an end of story . Upon return , few weeks later on one of our forums / Gaybutton or Sawatdee, not here / some Australian member admitted to making fool of himself recently at Raya accusing staff of theft while in fact day or two later he identified where his money went. I don't remember but either he found it somewhere or recalled where he spent it/ . I strongly believe this was the same person and case. I must command that gentleman to admitting publicly his mistake. I hope you read it. Lesson from that is , before we ring alarms that something is missing it's better to make sure it was there in the first place.

at least it looks that both All of Me and Ting Tong are trying to enliven Sunee and we all should applaud them even if Sunee is not our #1 destination in Pattaya / my case but I like Good Boys for fun factor /

Isn't it easier just to steal whole suitcase ? more or less it's the same price range like Tarntawan but new and modern
-
it may be basic but still brings lots of best memories of boys I hosted there. For undemanding types like me such a breakfast may be still sufficient and with more then one bowl of cereals actually quite filling
-
let it go, you are spoiling your vacations by being so bitter over issue really trivial in great scheme of things
-
I'm surprised to see such uneven distribution in USA with Western half almost de-Romeozed with exception of coastal California
-
It is valid concern. In places where I'm using safety box on reception I don't keep money in view, either I have money belt and take whole thing out to return with it later or have cash in envelopes and just take one envelope with usually 5000 in it to tidy me over. I'm not arguing about benefits of safety box in the room since I like it as well, just I don't consider it that important and learned how to cope without. Even with most careful planning we may arrive late to discover that box is not working and hotel is full so no substitute room is available but still is enough time to bring boy over so we need to have plan B IMHO
-
You are right but on another hand do you really think you guest will take off in your presence with such a heavy piece of metal? Even Raya. much classier and newer has safety boxes just hidden in the closet, not bolted . I don't think it fits a description for an opportunistic crime
-
I'd rather have them NOT increasing prices, safety boxes are just a toys. If one really cares about his possessions boxes on reception for me seem to be much better bet. But so far as long as I'm concerned in absence of safety deposit box , a padlock on my suitcase serves me well. Nantra Silom has safety boxes in the rooms but it seems to be maintenance problem and often they just don't open / close.

I'd double the minimum one and round result up to the nearest 500

I don't even think Christian writes with average person in mind. Gay and bookish with ability to find interesting yet out of way and unknown places - it's not average person's diet . Average person travels to and from work, watches TV and then proceeds to the bedroom to have boring sex with wife of 11 years.
-
what's wrong with that? It's not like it's only item on the menu
-
you are not alone who stopped points game, I did my calculations and arrived to exactly the same conclusion, now I look just for best monetary deal and if some points will come with it , fine, but i don't let my decision being swayed by the points game anymore

I like Nantra and In my opinion it's even better than just OK. Close to Silom but in quiet corner, pretty modern, not luxurious but adequate. Alizizou is right about breakfast - very basic , coffee, toast with jam, cereals and some fruit so I usually supplemnet it with cheap breakfast at Foodland Patpong. Standard rooms are on smallish side but Deluxe ones are quite comfortable for price charged. No problem with visitors , even multiple ones but they may charge you 100-200 for a towel if you request an extra one . best value for a money, spacious and sunny rooms with some view, clean, no luxuries but enough comfort to stay. They will keep your guest ID on reception and call you to confirm all is Ok when he leaves, No safety boxes in the room, you must use those in reception , deposit 500 requred, No free breakfast , nor free internet but for 700-800 what do you expect. Breakfast in cafeteria not expensive though. No more money boys there. Only problem is a bit of distance from the scene, taxi from Silom will be 60-100, motorsai from Lumpini MRT 20 or 10 minutes walk. Book early as it fills very fast.

In bars like Tawan , Jupiter or BoyzBoyzBoyz you will find plenty straights, just watch where they eyes are going if there's girl in the audience
