Has anyone stayed in Hua Hin recently? I have a friend that has just returned (not gay so no good info) that says it's a great place. Good food, clean beaches not as tourisy as Pattaya ( ie no touts for massage etc) I can only see a couple of gay bars (old info). Whats a good area to look for accommodation? Any recommendations? Anyone had luck on hornet etc? I might like a couple of nights there next trip. Near the beach and gay bar if possible

Extending U-Tapao is interesting. On one hand I enjoy my direct flight into BKK not so much the drive to Pattaya. With the Pattaya airport expansion more international flights will happen. I doubt there will be a direct flight from Perth unfortunately. But I might be able to get connecting flights from Singapore or KL without the overnight stay

I wonder if the ceremony will be Thais only. I once met a young English girl who was teaching for a year in Thailand. She was expected to become essentially Thai whilst staying there. She had to leave tributes at the shrine and wai as she passed any pictures or statues of the king. She was always the Farang but tried to keep everyone happy. I'm sure others in that situation would like to pay their respects

What if I took a picture of the street and the said boy was standing outside his bar in full view?

Oh, but this link is to a couple doing it on the beach. The original video shows a couple doing it in the back of a Baht bus. I'm presuming they weren't the same couple

Well I'll add my 2cents worth. I love trip reports (with or with out pics or hardcore sex) I just hope both Vessey and Numazu will start posting them again in the not too distant future. And of course I look forward to more of the legendary Vinapu's trip reports

Well said. I like the model pics thread. I like the fantasy thread, probably more, because I seem to share jfarmer017 tastes of boys. Perhaps we should have a separate area for 'stories'. Then those that wish can ignore it. Or even better make it by subscription/invitation only. Then if you sign up you have no reason to complain

I'm told Chang Mai has only a few gay bars (like 2 maybe). But the availability of various boys on the Apps is quite good. I guess my point was if they close down the bars etc in Pattaya then only the apps will provide the service I'm looking for, therefore almost any location in LOS would be OK

I haven't been to Phuket for a few years now, but last time I was there Paradise Complex in Patong had a few gogo bars and host bars. Unfortunately I was travelling with someone and so didn't get the chance to check them out

I do love going to Pattaya. I've spent the majority of my time there over the last 22 trips. I would never swim at the beach, but to be fair I only live 800m from the beach in my home country and I never swim at the beach here either, despite the pristine coastline, it's just not my thing. During my earlier trips I spent time at gogo bars looking for a soulmate nowadays I use the apps more than anything. I guess the attraction for me is the availability of the bars if I so wish. Close them down and I still have my apps or maybe start looking to Chang Mai or other places. Not much of anything unique in Pattaya to keep me coming back

Going back a few years ago I would have a Singapore stop over on the way home from Thailand. I found the main streets to be clean but go one street back and it could have been in Pattaya (litter wise anyway) I enjoyed the food but also didn't fins any good nightly activity, so I gave up going

I do love somtam,but never have the raw fish etc in it. Although my somtam gets made by the same guys that have all the raw food. So I guess there is the very real risk of cross contamination as I've never seen them rinse out the mortar (or is it the pestle, I never know) I guess I'll have a chat to my Doctor at the next appointment coz I'm not giving up somtam

I hope you get some good info here. My next trip will center around Jomtien. I've only ever made quick trips on the back of a motorbike. Never had the chance to look around. There is an abundance of restaurants on the jomtien 'beach' road. We did stop at one, no idea of the name. But it had tables set out basically on the beach side footpath. So we were overlooking the sand and water. Pleasant enough and good food. The bars in the Jomtien complex cater for your (and my) tastes. I'm still confused as to how the bars there work. I'm presuming it's just like a gogo bar in terms of offing a boy for some night time fun Hornet and Gayromeo are in my opinion the better apps to use There is apparently a night market on the main road, somewhere near soi 9. Anyone been there?? It's got the usual stalls selling stuff I don't won't, but I love eating in the that type of place Enjoy your trip. And feel free to add your experiences and knowledge when you get back!!
