Oh, I know. I was having some mobility issues when I switched from Bangkok to Pattaya. I'm much better and plan to see Sunee during my January visit. I was just responding to the word "shocked". I don't find anyone's choice in activities shocking. Surprised? OK, but shock is a bit much.

"Bummer", more like really odd. Fully dressed is for a host bar and I'm fine with that. But, it will be odd to see gogo without, at least, shirts off.

Frankly, I never worry about those fees. It's just a cost of travel. Sure I can use the exchange booths but you have to have something in hand to exchange. That means carrying cash. I bring some but use my atm and cards and adjust everything into my travel budget.
