Babylon is a hotel, and the rooms have an option of shared bath/shower which has led to cruisy encounters for a friend of mine. And then, of course, hotel guests have access to the cruise areas of the public areas. Hoping it will survive the pandemic! Off topic, forgive me, but that saltwater pool at (the old Clark Hatch) Fitness Thaniya is amazing if anyone is looking for great pools while in Silom/Bangkok. The crowd is not exclusively gay or all-male, but it is a good mix of people. Great skyscraper views from the gym and pool area.

Hi All, On the Line Ads for DM Spa, what does GT, GTB, MT, MTB stand for? And then it is followed by a number, 1300 or 1500, up to 4000. My 5th summer trip is approaching, and I always try to expand my experience, so I want to try booking on Line. Thanks!

Hi paulsf, I'll be doing my 3rd trip this August and I'm increasing my stay to the entire month. So I'll want to take advantage of that and get a better room rate. Like you, I want to be on or around Surawong Road. I'm looking at the Tarntawan Apartments (next door to the Tarntawan Place Hotel, where I stayed last year). A studio with kitchen is around $950 USD plus a utilities charge. Your advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Along with the other board members, of course! Thanks. (Just got a $680 USD R/T from LAX on China Airlines/TPE with great take off times and L/O times, so ready to find the room/apt.)
