  1. Out of curiosity, I went to this thread today (11.05.25). I'm perplexed as to why Birmingham boy NEVER received any answers to his queries. Men, from now on and in the future, please accommodate our "brothers" requests. I know yours have been answered in the past; I damn well know that mine have, for I was at the now defunct "daddy's" website now CompanyofMen and received my answers way back in 1999 as well as given lots beginning in 2002. ...just thought I'd come to the rescue of a brother--even if it's two months later.
  2. Can visas be obtained at the Consulates that are in the various cities? Earlier during the 2000s, I'd drive to San Francisco (two hours from where I live on the coast) to obtain my Brasilian visas; I always enjoyed the experience, for I never had to wait too long to be consulted. Yes, I do know that this is the 21st century and that far too many businesses prefer doing business via the net, etc. I would be unable to obtain my visa that way, for I am a novice when it comes to technology, and I don't particularly care to use a phone to do stuff. But, in assessing the situation, I guess that I will have to adapt if I chose to obtain what I desire.
  3. ALL of the men who I have kissed in Brazil were SUPER-SUPERB kissers. I loved it and still reminisce when my mind (inadvertently) reminisces about the great times (culturally as well as sexually) that I experienced during my almost a decade in traveling to "Mother Brasil."
  4. It's SPRING in Rio during November and SUMMER in December. In response to your question, I'd advise as well as appreciate your writing a separate post: "Rio Pride in November 2025"
  5. This is superb advice for one interested in moving and settling in another country as well as in a town or city of his native land!
  6. I reread my take on this matter and see why there might be some sort of confusion. Ignore my last sentence, please!
  7. I, too, wish to post my utmost thanks to you for the recounting of your most recent sojourn to Rio de Janeiro, my favorite of the cities in "Mother Brasil." Your short sagas accompanied by photos did resurrect some of my times and experiences that I had and continue until this day to recount and bask in the afterglows. ...liked your writing style and depictions, too! MUITO OBRIGADO
  8. Men, ...have traveled to Brazil "back-in-the-day" when the base rate for company while in the saunas was R$50. Nowadays, the initial rates for company and play are R$150 and upwards. It's 10.10.25; I went to the conversion table on my iMac, and R$200 is a mere $37 USD. R$300 is only $56. Stop viewing those three o's as being a lot of money. Remember these guys of limited means and opportunities have to live, too. You have the means; think again when "bargaining," something that I NEVER DID and felt the better for it. All of the guys that I saw in the various saunas throughout Brazil were never disappointed with the fee (and in many cases an accompanying gratuity) were disappointed with the R$s that I gave them at the end of our hot fun time. I was NEVER exploited; they were NOT as well, and I NEVER gave the escorts three digit figures which are today's equivalent of the two digit ones "back in the day!"
  9. OBRIGADO! ...interesting reading and yearning perhaps in the future for me.
  10. Ditto! ...have been to both cities and appreciated what they had to offer. While in Curitiba-- my friend and I went to the sauna you mentioned; he had a super-great time, for many a guy flocked to him. As for me, I, unfortunately, was out of commission and only went along for the ride. ...could not experience any of the guys, for a hottie in Rio had "fucked" my throat so to disable it. It was out of commission; thus NO kissing. The guys asked my friend why I was not partaking; his response was something sexy. I desired what they had to give and offer, but I could not have and enjoy! ...went to Foz alone and stayed 3 day--a little too many for a solo traveler unless you're quite extroverted. ...didn't engage in any play but did enjoy the fauna and those mighty falls that had lots of water--met a Jewish couple from the States who piqued my interest in Salvador, Bahia. It was already on my itinerary, but what they shared about its being the most African of cities in Brazil had me desiring that much more. After my first visit, I managed to go two other times. That's where I had met that fabulous taxi driver who was extensively discussed "back-in-the-day." He came to my hotel room during the early afternoon and gave me a solid fuck. At the end he asked if I wanted to see him later. I, like a damn fool, said no. Every time that I think about that past trip, I always tell myself that another visit from him would really had made that trip. He would have extended "his all" to me. Guess he's in his 40s or early 50s by now, for it's been over 20+ years since I made my 11 or 12 visits (all over) trips for the (culture and men) HEY you guys who are beginning to travel to "MOTHER BRASIL," GO THERE; APPRECIATE the GREAT VIBE, the varied cultures, and yes, yes, yes, yes: THE MEN who kiss oh so friggin' divinely, sensually, and hell yes, mighty sexily!!
  11. Your reports truly beckon my return someday. Hope an older gent is not a turn off for the 21st century garotos.
  12. I fondly remember those times. They were so inviting and exciting. That is when I met TomCal and FloridaRob and others who no longer post here. The whole experience for, I would write for all of us, did not seem real although it did transpire. My friend and traveling partner passed away recently. Our adventures still resonate with me, for they were indeed positive.
  13. Although your experience with that particular man was perhaps traumatic to you, I think you'd be able to return to Mother Brazil; my advice is to be discreet and cautious. In terms of bf experience, that's another story. I traveled to Brazil (all over) on 12 occasions pre COVID and only had safe and very pleasant and memorable times.
  14. The small font size that many of you writers have been using is far too small for my eyes; thus I am unable to read many of the posts here. I'd truly appreciate your using size 16, the size that I used here. One can read with ease and w/o encountering any difficulty. I am not traveling to South America these days but do enjoy reading and reflecting and reminiscing from what's being currently written and posting. Please do "this guy and others" a supreme favor by writing but using the aforementioned highly suggested size of print. Continue to enjoy "Mother Brazil" and the other South American countries. Muito Obrigado, Axiom ...a poster who's been here since its initial inception...
  15. When I was in Santo Domingo a while back, I did a cultural thing one or two days. Since it's been quite some time, I've forgotten specifics, but check out SD at Tripadvisor.com to see what's provided. My traveling definitely includes facets of a cultural nature as well as my having my sexual appetite or need satisfied as well.
