I think moderate Republicans have become a rare breed. They are ashamed to be considered part of the far right which has taken over their party, so they call themselves independents. I voted twice for Richard Lugar, and I cannot think of any other Republican worth my vote. maybe Sheriff Booboo in Arizona, but I have yet to see his weapon. Oh, wait. Who is that cute guy from Illinois? But damn, he has some awful views. At 30, he is still unmarried, so the scandal is only a matter of time.
