I think that's the same Andrea I fell in love (lust) with back in 2009, although the blurry nature of the picture makes it difficult to make a positive identification (Ihpguy's description sounds a lot like him, though). My Andrea and I e-mailed for a few months after my trip, but then lost contact. If that is indeed him, I had no idea he had moved to São Paulo. If so, that would explain why I never saw him at the Rio saunas again. Does anyone know how long he's staying in Rio? I'll be there from July 22 to August 10. I'd love to see him again, but also to meet up with Tealady again, and meet Ihpguy for the first time.

I love Brazil and I love Argentinean men, so if he's still there in July, that would be the best of both worlds for me! P.S. You need to have Tomcal hook up your posts with photos of your guys. Great report, Tomcal. I think actually remember seeing your very handsome new German kid when I was there last year. He seems bigger now, though. I'll have to make a point to see him this July! Before I leave for POA, would you do me a favor and pass along my interest to the German cousins, since I think you said that they don't work at the saunas that often anymore? I'd be much obliged.

I went to Bar Mixx all 3 nights I was there last August, but unfortunately never saw the construction worker. Since the cousins don't do the saunas anymore, I guess that explains why I didn't see them either. Do they go to either Bar Mixx or Indescretus, or are they only available to former paramours/clients like yourself? Lucky dog, you!

Unfortunately, I was never able to find some of the guys you'd recommended to me last year, like the German construction worker who frequents the bars or the cousins who work the saunas, including the soccer player. :-( Maybe better luck this July?

Tom, you are too funny. I was actually there last August, so I'm aware of how cold it can get. I was actually advised by Roy, owner of the Mezzaninu sauna, to never bring any of the boys back to my hotel room, so I never did it. Maybe I should change that practice now, based on your recommendation? P.S. It sucks (not in the good way) that I won't be able to finally meet you down in POA!

Sorry I won't be able to join you guys this month. But FYI, I'll be in rio this July (their "winter") for 2 weeks and plan on taking a winter trip to Porto Alegre. I did it last year and had a blast. It'd be great if Tomcal or other members could make a trip down there. Have fun!

Went ahead and took the plunge by booking my flights between Rio and PA, plus hotel in PA. That'll be my only weekend in Brazil, so it's a shame to miss out on Rio's famous weekends. But for the fun of PA, I think it'll be worth it. Hopefully I'll run into TomCal's German worker and those adorable cousins! August can't arrive fast enough!

I may have to return to Porto Alegre now. I'll be in Rio for 11 days/10 nights during the first 2 weeks of August. I'd been debating hopping over to PA for my lone weekend, then decided against it. Now that I've seen this thread, I might just change my mind again!
