I really dont understand how and why (well I do understand how, Lucky turned it into that) this thread morphed into a discussion about "ATTACKS" ? Noone, including myself is condoning ATTACKS..... I am, and have been discussing a more civil discourse of "differing" opinion. Are we NOT allowed that here ? And while Lucky seems to be endorsing one-way conversation, that practice to me seems undemocratic and Dangerous. Clearly there are 2 camps of thought here, and they are quite divided. However, Lucky's supporters are failing to read beyond HIS posts to truly understand the other point of view. Like with Trump supporters, they hear and believe what they want, and tune out the opposing side. While Trump views any negative comment about him as an attack and FAKE NEWS, Lucky too sees a negative opinion as an attack.... WRONG ! (BTW RH, I see you've come around and started using your detested "memes" to comment ? GOOD BOY) And, you are absolutely RIGHT, we are beating a dead horse. Perhaps you should speak with your friend Lucky ?

For anyone that watched Janet Jackson receive some Icon award at the Billboard Music Awards, her live performance was quite disappointing.... At 50 +, Janet sure looked gorgeous, but her performance (partially lip synched) lacked the usual power and energy you expect from a Janet performance. Kudos to the promoters who designed a production number designed to create enough chaos around her, with minions of dancers and crazy lighting to detract from her lethargy. AND she wore FLATS ! But gurl gets props for swinging that 3 ft ponytail !!!! While Janet may have the hops to still create great music, it looked like it was time for her to hang up up "live performing" heels ? Recent clips of Madonna and Cher performances, who are also clearly in their Golden Years, illustrated a lack of the usual energy produced in their sets.... While still FABULOUS !! I am not blaming them...At their age, bodies break down and everyday there is some ache or pain, even if they are in tip-top shape. Fans expect 100% especially if they pay big bucks for a ticket. Do you think there is a time that these performers should stop performing LIVE ???

Its neither. It a disagreement. I simply dont disagree with Luckys theory, which is clearly a contradiction. One one hand he started the thread to encourage participation, but ONLY wants people who agree with a subject to post. Doesnt that LIMIT participation ? I guess he was so focused, he didnt think there could be another side to his proposal , which has the opposite effect to what he intended. ?
