  1. @polysome I agree. I see only a few dancers, and no crowd ever shown. The cute blond bartender now works at Up according to the other forum. I am still thinking about taking a trip this summer since it has always been on my bucket list. One travel guide mentions that Drake's has go go boys, but I have no personal experience on that. Most of the travel guides I have browsed, seem to have outdated information. Anyone have suggestions on the best updated travel site for Europe? Also, do European cities have local gay magazines like David in Atlanta, or GetOut in NY that would have more updated information / pictures ?
  2. They have a new Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/xpragueofficial/ . I read somewhere that they lost access to the old account, so it has outdated information.
  3. Bumping up this thread to see if anyone on this board has any recent info on dancers, atmosphere, etc. X Bar on Instagram shows about 2-3 dancers, and a nice looking twink bartender. Recommendations on hotels that are ok with "guests", or other club info (twink/college) would be appreciated.
  4. Axiom2001, I would go in September. This year, it was a hot summer, so Montreal saw temps in the 70s and 80s all month (which is unusually high, normally in 60s/70s) but October it was mostly in the 50s. As far as gay hotels, the gay area is centered around St. Catherine Street form Berri-UQAM to Papineau. If you search priceline, you can select the "montreal downtown- latin quarter" for hotels. If you like chain hotels, then the Governeur is in the area, and a Marriott Fairfield will be opening in Dec. There are many B&Bs along with Air BNBs. You can use trip advisor and search Montreal Gay village , then click on restaurants to get some ideas/reviews on food in the area. I can't help much on the culture side, I spend my time in the bars , St Catherine, or the Casino when I go.
