I've been to MRs now.   It has the most cabins of any sauna in Rio. We all hate waiting for cabins, so this is a welcome addition to the sauna scene.  With shorter cabin wait times, both client and escort will be happier. The owner, Acir, has a great mind for running a successful sauna (he ran MM for years) and his commitment to making MRs the best sauna is evident.
And I REALLY liked the upstairs bar. Very clean, classy and sharp- an unusual trio of attributes in a Gay sauna.  But it's very conducive to just hanging out with your friends. I can see Cariocas just coming and hanging out there for (non-sexual) fun and a drink or two.
And the rooms are nicer than any other rooms in Rio. 
If you go to Rio and are attending the sauna scene, dont miss out on MRs. Its worth it.

I approached one attractive guy. He immediately accepted my offer of 100 Rs. Good times.

Glad i am not the only one! And while i am considered at least average intelligence i could not comprehend what he was saying in paragraphs 2 - 5!  IMHO he didn't contribute much of value because most of his posts took 2 or 3 readings to understand 1/2 of what he was saying!  While i don't like to see anyone leave the forum, i can't say i will miss him!

Thank you for the updates. I'm going to Rio this summer so I've been reading about all the unrest in Brazil. My heart goes out to Brazil and it's all very discouraging. Hopefully it will all turn around soon.
How is this affecting the sauna culture? I would think that with increased financial distress, there would be more garotos working?  Has the Olympics coming made an impact, if any on the Rio sauna scene?

Completely new to this forum. Very grateful for all the sage advice. I've certainly learned a lot. This is my first post.
I'm going to Rio in a few weeks for primarily a "Rio Gay Sauna Tour". I understand that in the saunas, the cost to spend some "intimate time" is about 100 Reals. Correct me if I'm wrong.
But I hope to meet a few men who are so amazing that I take down their number and either bring them home for an all-nighter or call them up later in the week and meet them in my apartment I rent.
What is the going rate for an all-nighter?
How much for about just 4-5 hours with some sexy time in bed and maybe dinner or accompanying me to a tourist attraction?
