I do! I haven't had any in several years.  Today - 15 August - is the anniversary of India's independence in 1947. So several weeks ago I suggested here at the nursing home that we have Indian food today. Didn't happen. So I cancelled my dinner here and ordered Indian food from a local Indian restaurant and had it delivered. There are a number of Indian staff here.

My roommate is 92yo, well educated, well traveled. He is multi-lingual. He has never married.  He is into health and cooking and classical music.. He is an agnostic.
There is a middle aged married couple (m/f) who often visit him.  Recently the woman told him that "his friend _____ (male name)" had called them. But then corrected herself saying "Your partner ___" had called them.
Last night he was watching a movie and thought Steve Reeves the body builder was in it but could not identify him.  I looked the movie up on the imdb and it was not Steve Reeves that were in the opening credits but rather an actor named Steve Reevis.
We have discussed famous gays in history and in Hollywood.
Only thing is he was born in Iran and according to the country's former President there are no gay Iranians. ;-)))

I just had my Saturday shower. The attendant was an East Indian Sikh woman. She called me "papa". I never thought that I was the daddy type. ;-))

Does it bother you when people use female words in regards to gay males? Afterall a gay male is not merely "a chick with a dick".
Yesterday morning I was waiting for my aide of the day to help me dress.  Another aide - a male - dropped by. He said to me "You're a princess".

The last two early mornings my blood sugar has been under 100 - in the 90s.  First time I can remember.
I try to control my diet here. I don't eat bread rolls, French toast, bread etc..  No desserts. Etc..
