Found this map with population density and audience profile for Bogota - clearly north of Chapinero is the way to go Cedritos is the most highly populated "wealthy" area in the north and surrounded by even more populated less affluent areas,so that's a good choice for the first accomodation I guess. I hope i'm going to survive in Cali and Medeliin to verify this statement about Cedritos and report. For the second week i'm going to look at Chico and around it as recommended by @speedoo1, but struggling to find any non guarded appartments there, most of them are official rentals that reqire registering guests etc. So i'm still investigating!

Agree, Cali is my best bet here as Medellin and Bogotá won't be as cheap, and if you think about the length of my trip, even 100 mil per day X 35 days is 3,500 COP (800 Euro+). Just realised I haven't posted a full report about Cairo stay this January. Got lots of useful info on this forum before the trip but had my own thoughts as I was only doing unpaid activities. 33 yo, average looking guy. I stayed 2 weeks in Old town next to the palace - lots of guys around but lots of sketchy guys, obviously lots of rubbish and poor people on the streets, not a pleasant experience. Had lots of interest on Tinder and Grindr. Was trying to get everyone on whats app straight away to swap pics and get an idea if they are legit and safe. To my dissapointment there were not a lot of attractive guys, not even halfway cute guys for unpaid stuff, lots of them had below average dicks as well. I am picky, and i've just realised i had very limited choice, felt like any decent looking guy was automatically an escort. HOWEVER, i did find a few cute average looking guys with good dicks. Just to give you a few examples below.
