Online, grindr hiring and massage places
Because the reas was quite weak and I really wanted to have a good massage this time, I did hire some massages during this time. I usually do not hire massages outside of asia because they just hide under the name of massage so that they don't have to deliver anything good. Well, that was exactly what these massage places were. Some members here said Solaryun Spa in Copacabana was good, so I gave it a try. My therapist was Vinicius, who claimed to be the owner of the place. First I tried the relaxing massage because I really wanted some good massage. But this was one of the worst massages I ever got in my life. If you read their google review, some people said it was the best massage in their life, so I was not expecting this bad quality. Anyway, some people just do not know what a good massage is like...The spa manager seem to respond to google map reviews, and one of the response was that this place is for tantric massage. So I decided to give it a try for the tantric one because I really like Vinicius body. Overall, the massage was better and especially the body to body part but it is just a hand release. There is no oral or kissing or anything. Of course, no penetration. It is 250, so given the massage skill is kinda bad, there is no point in massage but rather the finishing part becomes what it matters. Then I asked myself, I can probably pay for a normal sex with penetration for 250 when I hire online. So why am I paying so much for this half ass experience? Well, that is my conclusion and you should consider that if you want to go there...
I also hired some hot guys from garotolocal for massage if they list it on the ad. Usually most seem to do some sort of massage in nude with a lot of touching and the finishing part varies individually, some would do everything but penetration. Most charged 150-250 but there were some outliers like 400 once. Didn't even hire him. Overall, the massage part is always underwhelming but naked hot guy was always the point...I wouldn't waste much time/cum/money for massage thing again in Brazil.
I only looked at garotolocal for online hiring for full sex. I probably should have explored more websites. But the quality of guys there is just impressive, all those sexy guys I used to hire at 177 are now online. Overall, SP had a lot more ads and different looking guys where Rio was the second largest but Rio cannot really match SP in terms of the quality, quantity and diversity of SP guys. Of course, there were a lot of traveling GPs and in fact, the ones I liked in Rio were visiting from SP. I usually send the default message that garotolocal generates for WhatsApp from my local sim WhatsApp number. So my guess is that some of them did not know I was a tourist. So maybe I was not getting too touristy prices but over 90% of the guys I contacted quoted me 300 reas. Simple distribution was: 180, 200, 250, 250, many 300s, then 330, 400, 500. There were only one 400 and one 500. The funny part is that the guy who quoted 500 was not the most impressive looking. I contacted him simply because he didn't have a naked picture on the ad, so I was hoping he had a small one...Anyway, from my experience the price rarely reflects the quality of hiring in this business so I was not surprised. I did pay quite a few 300s and they came to my hotel, which allowed guests without any issues. But sometimes they don't even check their id, so I was a bit worried. In Colombia, they checked everyone's id and I had to call the reception before my guests leave so that the reception knows I was ok with the guest leaving. This was a bit awkward but it seems like Colombians know this well and it worked well for my safety. 
In Rio, I had one completely empty profile on grindr saying I want a GP. Some people contacted, more so in Rio than SP where I had a shorter time. Overall, there were not many I would be interested in hiring from grindr but I got two 150s and one 200 and one 400. I was not really enthusiastic about hiring someone from grindr but all of them were very insistent. The good thing about grindr is that the guys were closer, just a few hundred meters away. I did hire the guy for 200 because he looked quite nice, well built and nice face, tanned and a typical face from Rio. It seems like he was straight, so first he didn't want to kiss but then when he realized he was not getting hard quickly, he just did everything from rimming me to kissing me with tongue. He was about to be topped because he was not getting hard but after a lot of kissing he got hard lol it was fun as an experience but was not a good sex. Then there was a guy who wanted 150 and he came to me right before I left Rio because I was worried his rate was a bit too low. This is because I prepared myself for the sauna and got nothing, so I got a bit desperate and I finally accepted his insistence, he messaged me at the right moment haha. He was around 175cm tall, no fat, or maybe should I say all of his body fat seemed to have come to his ass...Nice round ass but otherwise very tight muscular body with six pack. Amazing kisser but he also rimmed me, sucked me, licked me all over my body. The finale was so good because his balls were slapping my ass as he got harder and harder before I came...The only bad part is that I resisted so long because his rate was so low and I was a bit worried and I was leaving when I finally had this amazing sex...After the sex, we had some nice chat and he was asking about my plans until I leave but the poor guy didn't know I was leaving next morning...I told him I don't know when I will leave but he kept messaging me ever since. If I met with him earlier, I could have hired him everyday for that price lol Well at least I had one nice experience in Rio as a bottom. So in the end, my best bottom experience was from grindr, my best getting rimmed experience was from an interactive boy and my best experience as a top was also with an interactive boy. Where are the sauna boys??? 

Lagoa in SP:
This was the first sauna I visited in Brazil on this trip, so I wanted to get a sense of the price range. Based on inflation data, 100 BRL in 2017 equates to 146 BRL in 2024. Alternatively, 100 BRL was about 30 USD in 2017, which translates to around 180 BRL today. I estimated the current rate to be between 150–180 BRL, but I knew it wouldn’t be that simple, so I asked around first. 😂
My first conversation was more of a market study than an actual hiring attempt. The guy approached me first—above average for the day but not my type. He quoted 200 BRL, I thanked him and walked away, but he kept chasing me down. That made me assume the rate was lower, probably around 150 BRL.
The second guy, Matheus or something, was someone I was actually interested in hiring. Curly hair, toned but not overly muscular, tight body, nice ass—average height and size. He also quoted 200 BRL, and assuming the rate was lower, I politely declined, expecting some negotiation. He simply said “okay” and left. No big deal, as he wasn’t exactly my ideal type. Later, I found out he charges 250 BRL online for full service in São Paulo, which suggests he had inflated his rate for the sauna. Given the suite fee, hiring him online might have been a better deal.
There were no other interesting options, so I left.
As for the setting, the place had endless stairs, and the sauna's shower was right next to the bar, fully visible to everyone. I hated both aspects. Given that most clients here seem older, did they really not consider how impractical all those stairs would be?

For some reason, many here never disclose sauna or online hiring costs. Whether this is because regulars pay less and prefer to keep rates private or for another reason, I'm unsure. Knowing the standard rates beforehand would have made my trip more efficient, as I spent time updating them myself—something I'll reveal here. Since this isn’t common on the forum, it was another reason for my hesitation. In my daytime work, I evaluate markets, so much of my thinking reflects those professional habits. Keep that in mind as you read the following posts

I think Olimpo closes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Also, not all opening days have GPs, but on those days, most patrons are hot though

3 states is a lot for a first trip.  I'm also turning 32 later this year and will be returning for my birthday.
Obviously Rio and SP is where the main action is, but I really had a blast in Salvador too. Some of the best sexual encounters of my life there.
Depending on what floats your boat, but If you enjoy brown/black guys, athletic and hung then you're in for a treat. There was also a healthy selection of white GPs too. I spent most of my time networking in Club 11. How busy it is depends on the day, I can't remember the best day to go but I think it's during the week.
SP, Rio and Salvador can all be very sketchy so usual safety precautions apply. Uber should be your best friend.
I also use garotocomlocal here and there but again be careful. Not as safe as the sauna but I always stay in apartments with security in upper-middle class neighbourhoods. I usually get a good feel for the guy before going ahead. Do they have insta/socials/OFs etc, lots of reviews, lots of info on their profile etc? That's usually a good sign. Are they reasonably friendly and well spoken when texting or speaking on the phone, are they cultured and open minded, or do they sound dubious, like they're from the hood? Are they using favela slang? Are they obsessing over money and eager to close the deal etc? (nothing against guys from the hood just thinking about safety. Generally speaking I would only go for the hardcore favela gangsta type in the sauna, especially in Rio and Salvador). The saunas provide more than enough options for a first timer but garotocomlocal in my experience is generally reputable if you're sensible. However the risk is never zero, just bear that in mind. Never go to them, always bring them to you (motel/ apartment etc, put away all valuables, money, dangerous objects etc).
I am semi-fluent in Brazilian portuguese now and that does help massively.

I’m trying to satisfy my nostalgic longing for Brazil, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to travel until after July. So, I’m considering visiting Montreal instead. I’ve already booked my flights: September entry in São Paulo and departure from Rio one week in each city. However, I’m still exploring the possibility of venturing into another Brazilian city with tourist facilities. 
So, I agree with all the previous posters about SP: the best GPs rarely hang out in the bar. Since climbing or using the stairs is quite a hassle for me, I usually sit at the small table in front of the clothing store, which is number 11 table  That way, I can see who arrives from their changing room. or sit at the 3rd or 4th floor, but I take it easy between the 2nd and 3rd floor. However, my experience has shown me that those who hang out too much on either floor are not the ones I’m looking for.
My type? If it walks, is in their mid-20s, has a handsome face, and is I ly top,  but is also a good kisser and cuddler, I’m all for it. Then, the second preference l is their body and how hung they are. And yes, I’ve noticed that SP has more city, pretty muscular boys, while Rio has more mulatto guys, and I love them equally  
Most of my regulars in Lagoa are either blonde, muscular guys with pretty faces. They’re regular sizes, but they have great kissers. Nothing like kissing such pretty faces. Also, those guys prepared me for the big boys. 
 
I didn’t visit 555, but I went to Phyton twice when it was recently opened. It was quite new at the time, so there weren’t many GPs, and unfortunately, none of them impressed me. The service was extremely slow, so I reached out to one of my regulars from Lagoa, and we met there instead. We had a fantastic time without the pressure of missing out on any good GPs.
On Friday night, I returned to Phyton, and it was much better. There was also an additional area downstairs with dancers, where I met this beautiful blond 19-year-old guy who was very affectionate. We spent the entire night holding hands in a BFE. I bought us a bottle of champagne, and we went to the room twice before returning to the bar where I parade my trophy bf. He was, nice but cocky with most of the locals (both GPs and clients) he had what it takes to be that good 
Overall, it was a fantastic experience that totally hit the mark!
As they say, it takes one to make your day or night. I had already shared my Phyton experience in previous posts. So, I left SP and headed to Rio on Sunday. Since Lagoa is very slow on Sundays, I didn’t visit any sex clubs in SP. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any of the non-GP patrons attractive, and my taste has been spoiled with hot guys from the saunas in Rio and SP.
Now, I’m looking into some options to visit another city with GP. 

I do not do one hour deals in Brazil. For short fucks, we have the saunas. I have been hanging out with him from mid morning to late night most times we met during the three last years. Besides, he advises me on what boys from the sauna I should not take home, and has even introduced me to amazing boys who do not go to the saunas. He is a talented for cooking and grilling, and loves to do it for me. 
Our current arrangement is an experiment, as sleeping with someone is not my favorite thing. I will try it, and if it does not work with him I will stop trying. As I am now able to make longer trips to Brazil and am getting closer to retirement, I am trying how it is bringing your fav with you.
Originally, we planned to be together my entire trip, he was going to arrive today. However, when I walked into my airbnb yesterday, I realized that it is too small for me to be able to enjoy his company for two weeks. So we made an adjustment. Considering I will be teleworking this week, he will be joining me on Friday and staying with me for a full week, may be 10 days. 
I prefer not to share what my part on the deal is. I've learned that some friends here feel entitled to demand from the boys the same treatment they read is granted to other clients in this forum. However, that is not how it works. The boys will weight many things on a client in order to determine a fair deal. 
Switching topics, today I was planning a walk along Avenida Paulista. I should have checked the news. I walked into a pro-Bolsonaro demonstration. That makes me think that I am not going to find the same environment than in regular nights, and makes me curious. Just arrived! I will take a nap and then probably go to Lagõa for the first time. Is the dress code there as relaxed as in Rio? I hope so, one thing I do not like of cities like Buenos Aires and SP is the less casual culture compared to Rio.
I am staying in a condo with ridiculous security, so bringing someone is not impossible (I already discussed it with my host) but it is annoying. I do not really care, as I am brining my Favorite Carioca to stay with me. He arrives tomorrow.
