Sad to say I know of one. He was from Belo Horizonte. He passed away some time in March this year. I was in BH and missed him by a couple of weeks. He was murdered at his home. I only knew when I went back to RJ and a GP told me. https://www.itatiaia.com.br/brasil/sudeste/mg/adestrador-de-caes-e-encontrado-morto-em-casa-na-pampulha-em-bh/

Do you know the exact address when you booked? Found the address on the other site - it looks a bit out of the main area. https://www.booking.com/Share-7VVZZzW Edit: Just saw the map in the AirBnB. It looks accurate, so I see you know where it is.

Apparently, 555 is still open despite every garotos and staff at Lagoa said otherwise. Just saw their updated Instagram a couple of days ago.

The Republica area has easily almost 20 sex venues. I think the most GPs cine is the one next to Habib - same row as McDonald's (the other end). There is also one in the same row as The Graus (Rua Aurora) - you will see some GPs in front of the venue. It's a cabin/booth type of venue, and I am not sure it has a name.

Saw this on my insta feed ... not sure if it is true. Likely for locals with prescriptions. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVyk_rjFhCd/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Apparently, it is still in business https://www.instagram.com/clube555.sauna https://x.com/pythonclubsauna/status/2031586426316337380

So you have chosen Rio? I'll be in Rio end of March.

What is the 3rd one besides 773 and Opiniao? I know my favourite 520 (now Domo) no longer has GPs.

If you know someone who works with the government, you can get a huge discount with their CPF. I was with a Brazilian friend at a pharmacy, and he said to use his ex's CPF (police or some gov department); my original total R600++ became R100++ with the CPF. (I didn't set out to use other's CPF from the start)

@travguy You were at Bangu every Sunday. How were the GPs over there in your recent visits? Would you say it is better than New Meio Mundo or the same? Are there at least 1 or 2 with athletic build or mostly boy-next-door twink? I know @Latbear4blk and others have commented - just wanna know if anything changed since. I still haven't been, so I might go on my next trip.

and Lebanese and Syrian.

https://www.instagram.com/silencio.ipanema/ https://www.instagram.com/bllackcatrj/ I haven't been to Silencio; only Black Cat. Black Cat has live sex show and big dark rooms - show are dark room open late. Granted it's not in Ipanema but near Leme in Copacabana.

https://www.instagram.com/saunacariocarj/ (The famous FestaDoApe is hosted here) https://www.instagram.com/spaario3/ (I think it used to be Sauna Catete or something. Haven't been after the name (or owner) change) https://www.instagram.com/sbcruising1/ https://chuppsclub.com.br/ https://www.instagram.com/riogspa/ https://kabalksauna.blogspot.com/ ... i think there are more, but can't find their IG - might be closed. eg. Sauna Copacabana - Rua Dias da Rocha, 83 - Copacabana (Not sure if it is still in business). Visited a few times when I stayed nearby; not too crowded but no attitude, unlike Rio G Spa.

Just booked my short side trip to POA from Rio. I'll be in SP, BH, Rio, and POA around Mar/Apr 2026 - say hello if you're in town.
