It is exciting, no doubt. When in Hurghada, do not stay in a resort, there isn't any action there, unless you only want sunshine and beach. Stay in Hurghada town, Sheraton Rd, near McDonalds, it's in the middle of the town. You will notice local guys sitting around, they will try to make contact, usually asking for cigarette. Everything after initial contact is up to you, they will never propose anything because they are scared and they are careful. You smile, say few words and see where it goes. All of them want small tip, it is never free, that's just local culture. 

Well that sounds a lot of fun and exciting to me lol. I will be visiting Hurghada soon for the first time - though only for 2 days.  Looking forward to it and would be happy even if I meet just one guy to hook up with.

I'm asian and got lucky several times in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. From my experience, local guys are not particularly attracted to the race but to the person. If they think you are gay and travelling alone , when they are horny you are prime target, imho  .
