What's wrong with you?

It is exciting, no doubt. When in Hurghada, do not stay in a resort, there isn't any action there, unless you only want sunshine and beach. Stay in Hurghada town, Sheraton Rd, near McDonalds, it's in the middle of the town. You will notice local guys sitting around, they will try to make contact, usually asking for cigarette. Everything after initial contact is up to you, they will never propose anything because they are scared and they are careful. You smile, say few words and see where it goes. All of them want small tip, it is never free, that's just local culture.

I wish I could, I never found a private place but I'm lazy and didn't put much effort. Connor2025 also did not reveal how he found his place in Hurghada, alltho I asked him. Understandable, this needs to be discreet.. but not a word. Finding a private place is the key in Egypt, it is not easy. The only thing to do, book a different place for each night in Hurghada for a week or 2 weeks, you keep moving every morning, it is a pain, but sooner or later you may end up in an apartment where no one is watching. Won't be easy but apparently doable, Connor2025 found a place.

Not much happened. I ended up staying in Hurghada for several days, stayed in the same hotel, never tried to find another apartment since it became clear finding a private place where no one is keeping an eye, no security was not going to be easy. And another thing, after several easy dates, all of them guys off street on Sheraton Rd, cab drivers, sex becomes slightly boring. It becomes repetitive, every time I blow a guy at some construction site, a quicky for a small tip. Seems fun, and it is, but after about a week, several guys every day and night, always outside and not exactly comfortable, slightly risky since you are in an isolated spot... at some point you've had enough. At that point, Hurghada becomes boring, the city itself is nothing spectacular. Hurghada is cheap, could stay there for a month or several months, but weather starts getting hotter, day time very hot. If I had managed to find an apartment, would have stayed longer, sex would have been better, I'd feel safer being in my own home, not at abandoned construction site or behind advertising billboard, blowing a stranger. Hotels are boring and there isn't much to do during a day. I ended up taking a Russian charter flight to Cairo and stayed there for few days and then back to Europe. I will return for sure, hopefully more motivated and able to find a private apartment, that would make a huge difference in Hurghada. Thailand in mid September, staying at least until mid December.. I wish I was attracted to Thai guys. Thailand is always a celibate holiday, good place for long stay but no sex. I wish North Africa had the freedom to do what you want, stay where you like and be able to host, like in Thailand, but then it probably wouldn't be exciting.

In North Africa, we are not looking for straight guys specifically, but guys who make themselves available somehow always happen to be straight. Could be because these are Muslim nations and there are no other types of guys but straight. I like top guys, the fact that they are straight makes everything even easier. They do everything I like and they don't do anything I don't want. Small tip, everyone is happy, it's perfect.

Sorry for very late reply. There is no lure as such, I just like Marrakech and since I am based in Europe, it is short flight. I usually stay in Thailand from October to mid March, late March is a very good time to visit North Africa. It is not hot yet, and nights are not cold, best times to stay in Morocco. I wonder around all day, sit in coffee shops, watch people, read. After dark there are places to hook up with locals, always outside, parks. It is always a nice few weeks in spring.

The thing is, I never bargain, can't stand these negotiations, I make an offer that seems reasonable to me, it's 99 percent of the time good enough and that's that. I admire your ability to save.

You asked about access to sea directly from hotel. No, hotel is not on the beach, but there is a public beach on my road, it's a dead end road that ends at the beach entrance, 400 local money, $7.50 for entry, sunbed, umbrella. It is a minute from my hotel. Street has several hotels, alcohol store and large supermarket. Here is a photo, at the very end of the street you can see entry gate with a red sign 'Mamma Mia'.

Yeah, very likely nothing happend that evening when they visited at 7 pm, why they decided to drop by together, who knows, possibly just curiousity. The skinny guy did message and can by few hours later, all went well. In about 2 minutes we reach civilization, he ends his call, and casually says 'how much'. I take our the phone and type 600 in calculator app. '5 minutes, my friend'. He keeps driving through Sheraton Rd towards airport, that's where the abandoned construction sites are, pulls slightly off the main road, stops the car, engine running, opens his fly, I blow him, he comes within 3 minutes. We drive back, I get our at McDonald's. It's still hot outside.

Tuesday morning, coffee at 10 am now. Yesterday about same time, walked by main street, Sheraton Rd and guy shouts out, he's the guy who we took taxi to construction site. So far, he is the most handsome guy, rough beard, not clean shaven, wearing exact same cloths, and again, his phone needs charging. The construction site where he took me 2 nights ago had mattresses on the floor, some clothes, pretty sure that's his home, explains why his phone needs charging. And he needs a cable, $2. We sit at a coffee shop, he charges his phone, needs a WiFi Hotspot because cafe WiFi is not available, clearly he doesn't have data on his SIM. So we sit for half an hour, I tell him how I need a private apartment, he tells me he knows where to find it. We walk, building after building, he is clearly just wondering, reading signs on buildings, just off main road. We enter one building, Arab guy, manager or maintenance, shows us 2 apartments, both nice, except both apts are next to his own apartment on ground floor, door to his apartment is open, and he walks in and out few times, he clearly lives there and that makes apartments in this building useless. All negotiating is done in Arabic by by Arab friend, let's call him Ahmed, I don't understand a word and that's my fault. Prices are offered, similar to prices at Booking and I walk away. Ahmed is very 'upset', he has done all this work for nothing, 'what do you mean you don't like the apartments '!? I tell Ahmed we will meet at 7, after dark and we will go to the construction site. Ok, he says, but he needs 300 right now, he will make it up to me when we meet. He also rises the price, it's now 25 €, I declined and we did not meet last night. A guy from the very first day texted, the guy who was refused entry to my apartment. He has a place, short walk and we go there. Nice single room apt, nice guy, dominant, likes to slap. Afterwards tells me he works at IT and wants to move to Europe, perhaps I could help him. Before I leave, he tells me needs 1000. I give it. He keeps texting. I like Ahmed, the construction site, but these constant negotiations are becoming tiresome. In a coffee shop in the morning he suggested I should gift him my wrist watch, I laughed but he didn't, he was serious, at least pretending to be serious. I told him, why do you want it, it's fake, he says, it's not fake, he says 'I have eyes '. Truth is, he does have very good eye, watch is not fake. How does a guy with no home, no place to charge his phone know the difference between fake a authentic IWC? With Ahmed, I thought after first time and agreed 1000, the price is set now, and we can drop this dance. But no, he is asking more now. It's tiny bit of money, but this constant feeling of being a day trader, being at stock market, it kinda ruins the high and takes away the desire. I suppose he can't help himself, he needs to bargain every time, he needs to up the offer, but in all his wisdom, he fails to realize how effectively he cools me down and ruins the experience. At that point I don't feel like sucking his dick. If it's only business, it defeats the purpose. There are so many other guys in the area at night. Grindr has maybe 40 unanswered messages.

Understood. When these so called guys goes for my dick, it's over.
