rem312 reacted to Enchanted_Elixir in Advice for massage parlourHi, this experience can be a bit challenging to fulfill as a casual first time tourist without some local knowledge. Basically, gay massage shops in Bangkok come in three flavours: H (Hard), SS (super soft) and S (soft), depending on the type of service they offer. The shops in Saphan Khwai are all H, and quite upfront about it. However, since people go there for penetration activities, massage tends to be rudimentary at best, with some exceptions. At some of the SS shops in Silom massage is usually good to exceptional, but the shops might have strict limits on how far their masseurs can go with customers (there are exceptions here as well).
What I am saying is that it can be difficult to find a provider that gives great massage and great sex, that is unless you got some local knowledge or are willing to try to apps for freelancers.
So if you’re looking for a fab massage in a nice room that leads to sex, then try Prince Spa in Suan Phlu. You will choose your masseur from a lineup behind a glass wall, ask mamasan for which boy can do what (T/B) and which one can do massage well. Book a VIP room (they come with jacuzzis and spacious beds).
If this is your first time in Bangkok, then try to stay in Silom. You can easily reach Suan Phlu and Saphan Khwai from there.
Good luck!

First Place = Mr Apek Wanlob - who I met as the famous bartender in the Candy Bar. Perhaps he now works in the Red Room bar ?? Anyone know?
Apek - in the center with the red sash
before the gaygudes EDIT button expires - one more tidbit - Mr. Apek also won the Popular Vote award - as all of us spectators (me included) we screamed our loudest at the judges which understood why he is so popular. Also, he received the most garlands.
Mr. Apek Overloaded in garlands
Second Place = I believe was sexy Mr. Oat from the Burirom Health Massage shop
Mr. Oat in the lineup with the many other contestants
For Third Place, we will need to wait until someone posts the official list in social media as I did not capture his photo.
I had the honor to be accompanied by our very friendly forum member = @Kiwi306 who interrupted his sojourn in Bangkok to join the Jomtien Complex Pride Night festivities. We met over at the Sunee Bar and then we moved over to the Momo-Turn bar to watch the Mr. Sexy Boy contest on the rainbow carpet.
We ordered food - which Momo-Turn bar obtains from the nearby Sophia's Thai yummy food bar - which has the famous stir fried chicken with cashew nuts dish that many forum members rave about - I have to agree.
@Kiwi306 brought to my attention the back of the Momo-Turn bar staff t-shirts which we both really liked:
This was my first time at the Momo-Turn bar and I truly enjoyed their very friendly and professional service and the manager is a very masculine type of guy - I will need to return more often.
Overall, this year's Pride Night was a BIG success. At first I did not like the idea of the 2 separate stages (zones) - but when reflecting on how it was organized, I see that it was a good idea.
What was nice about this year's event is that the bars that produce shows - had set up teams that performed at various rotating locations throughout the Jomtien Complex - in that way it was great to see the guys outside of their normal bar environments to show off what they do best -and- it allowed us spectators to feel and experience an ongoing continuous set of performances without having to move around much.
Below are some random social media postings - as it was impossible to be everywhere at once.
The SWING Pattaya team did an amazing job of coordinating the parade, funding, logistics, MC-ing, and educating people on what services they have on offer and HIV / AIDS testing and prevention.
A humongous amount of praise needs to be given to Tam Tam Morgena (shown on the left in the above photo) - who tirelessly was the driving force to make this year's Jomtien Pride Night happen - as you may remember that back in late May it was posted that due to a lack of funds it was cancelled. But, once Tam Tam returned from St. Petersburg - she made sure that it would NOT be cancelled and organized it with SWING Pattaya for July 18, 2026
