The new establishments in the  Dick Cafe soi  and its adjoining corner have done wonders for the Complex as a whole.

Yes I agree.  They act as a large anchor store in a shopping mall - pulling customers to that end of the Complex.  In this way, both main entrances to the Complex have some action.  The street where the East Suites / Thai Blind Massage is too quiet - something interesting needs to move into that street to give it some life.  I would love to see a place where we can dance - even a tea dance - for us who can't last beyond midnight in some far away dance club.  Plus, it would help give us an alternative to the Complex mantra of, "Falang sit down - falang drink..." I find this desired behavior by our Thai hosts b-o-r-i-n-g and puts us into a geriatric state of mind.  I would love to open a bar or dance place with the name = "Falang can dance...." - let us have some energetic fun instead of just focusing on B-I-N-G-O !!!!   There will be plenty of time to sit-down and play Bingo later on.....

Maybe this next generation of falang😉👍 ,the upcoming farang are much different in terms of health and keeping fit and more "younger " in mind , a great idea instead of bingo and Zimmer frames 😉

I liked Dragon Music lounge, went several times and brought guys I met in Boystown area with me to drink there, I was staying at Classroom.

I too, have problems meeting my types in the Complex, but I like to socialize with a few expats that hang out there.

# me too but I must say one of best and most memorable personality boys I ever met and spent time with was from @Home Bar.

 

On thing I'd like to add to the map above is 7/11 which is located exactly where ATM is across the 'To the Beach" street from New India restaurant, street without 7/11 is like church without God.

I would definitely spend more vacation days in Pattaya if there were a gay or gay/mix nightclub where I could actually get up and move, rather than, like you said, just sit there and drink. It doesn't even have to be big, just a small club. And, sure , put it in Jomtien as that seems to be the happening gay spot, anyway.

Pattaya is full of clubs and karaoke bars; not many that are exclusively gay, but many that usually have a substantial gay customer base, that only come alive from about 1am and then until about 4am or 5am.

I'll have to search these out. I used to have fun in NAB before the pandemic, but I'm sure that has closed down. Does anyone know what the hot new nightclubs in Pattaya are? I'll probably be going back to Thailand in February. If not then, April.

Sadly Nab has closed, but Dragon Club on the old GStar site near Hollywood is mostly gay.

Sinlapin Isan is huge and  welcomes everyone and very popular with my gay friends. 

The list of karaoke bars is almost endless - all the gay boys you meet in Pattaya or Jomtien will have their favourite and will happily let you take them there haha.

So no need for research really, let the boys do it for you. Best to go as a small group, you, your boy and at least one friend. 

Karaoke bars, certainly the larger ones, are more clubs than true karaoke bars, and they can get expensive if there is a group of you all drinking whisky and calling down boys from  the line-ups to party with you. But they are huge fun! 

 

There is also Lucifer on Walking Street with a mixed crowd.

It was published as a result of the nameless bar that is next to the Candy Bar being finally assigned a name = Jungle Boy.

There are some other updates that are not yet reflected on the map:

1.) The Gus Bar (formerly the Club Lounge) has now been renamed = GREAT BAR

The Gus Bar was previously associated with the nearby Sunee Intimate Bar. 

I tried to ask the guys what happened, but as is customary with the Thais my question was avoided and the topic changed.

Gus Bar was one of the 2 known pillow bars in the complex. 

I visited the GREAT BAR the other night and I can confirm that the pillow activities are still happening - but it has less pillows (used for discretion) than the other pillow bar =  M Bar has on offer.

  

I could not find a new Facebook page for the Great Bar and the Gus Bar Facebook was still active, but the last update was last month.

2.) My Favorite Diner looks like it is about to open - soft opening activities seem to be already happening.  Previously, it was reported here in our forum that the external bar that is attached to this entity (on the patio) had the name = "Bar in a Box".  Perhaps that was a temporary name until the construction work on the My Favorite Diner could be completed?  As the "Bar in a Box" was opened around the Songkran festivities period.

3.) The Sutiyada massage shop (next to the Agate hotel - when walking towards Soda Massage) has now been taken over by Khun Best, from The Best Bar. 

The name of this new massage shop is = The Best Massage.

4.) Just prior to reaching the Boy GaGa bar, there are 3 new places:

• Schatzi's - still no new updates since the previous posting in this forum - however, I did see a "work in progress" web page being designed and tested for this establishment, which, if this web page is valid - it will be a restaurant, bar and also "hotel" - as there were some rooms listed in the draft web page that I was able to see from a random Google search.

• Indian Thali (Anny Company) restaurant.  I could not find any related social media information for this new establishment - situated between the new Schatzi's and Boy GaGa bar.

If you know of any other updates please post them as the Jomtien Supertown Complex is constantly changing and growing.

This certainly appears to live up to the name !     Even Narak tii sut.

I wonder if they have the same pricing model as other nearby establishments ?   ie 150 baht for a cat drink (treat) ?

It depends who their target market is.   
There are 3 different Indian restaurants I eat at in S Pattaya & Jomtien.   At two out of the three, the majority of customers are clearly European.   The third has a mixture of customers, but Europeans are still well represented. 
Fortunately, almost all the Indian tourists go elsewhere.

Good luck, guys. It's going to be a challenge keeping up to date with Jomtien Complex - the businesses change so quickly.

Don't want to get off topic ..but I see Ali Baba Indian restaurant always gets great reviews on YouTube,and looks great inside too , I will try it next visit 

I love western type indian Beef Vindaloo etc

The NEW diner, My Favorite Diner, in the Jomtien Complex, aka Supertown is having its soft opening.

I will try to go and eat there within the next days to see how it is and report back here.

My sense of it is that it may be owned by the same owner's as the Bueno Mexican restaurant - which is right next door.

Last night I visited the new My Favorite Diner to have dinner during their soft opening.

The service was really good as there was an over abundance of exuberant staff.

I chose to eat inside in the airconditioned large room. 

As is typical of diner eateries there are the:

• traditional booths,
• 2 person tables in the middle,
• or, at the counter seating.

There is also ample space for eating outside on the terrace with a well stocked bar.

I ordered the Wagyu Cowboy burger with fries and a lipton iced tea.  It comes with a side of potato salad and coleslaw.  The burger also included jalapenos - which I did not add to my burger.

I also ordered a side of french fries, which I forgot to take a photo of.  The dinner includes a complimentary small soft ice cream desert from the cute ice cream cart that is on the outside patio.  If you are walking through the Jomtien Complex, aka Supertown and desire a soft ice cream, they can prepare you a cup of ice cream to enjoy during your journey.

I was very satisfied with my meal - especially the coleslaw - as it had a slight spicy tsang to it.  Note that the hamburger is served open face on a type of bread that we use to make french toast back home with.  Perhaps they don't have hamburger buns?

As they are in the soft opening phase the menu is still not published - so I could not include it here - but they told me that it will be published on their Facebook page perhaps next month after they work out the kinks.

Currently the operating hours are from 5pm until 12am - closed on Tuesdays.

I look forward to when they will open earlier for breakfast - as that is in their plans - as I love diner breakfast food.

This year there won't be a Gay Pride Parade in Jomtien or Pride Night in the Jomtien Complex, aka Supertown due to a lack of funding. 

However, last night, The Venue Cabaret organized a Gay Pride ABBA night and it was very enjoyable and well attended - which I was happy to see, as this low season is quite LOW. 

This is typically the same weekend (2nd weekend in June) when in the past Jomtien had its own Pride Parade and related festivities.  Hopefully, next year in 2027 there will be enough funding to resurrect Jomtien's ability to celebrate its own unique grass roots type of Gay Pride.  For me the Pattaya City Gay Pride is nice - but it is too commercial for my tastes, whereas the Jomtien Gay Pride is much less commercial and consequently more enjoyable.

Now we look forward to the PATTANA (Central Festival) sponsored Pattaya International Pride Festival and related festivities on Saturday 27 June over in Pattaya City.  I believe that the parade will commence around 4:30pm from the Central Marina Outlet Center on 2nd road and then head down to Beach road and terminate at Central Festival - where post parade activities will take place.

Maybe what makes it a cowboy burger...Thicker bread= Texas Toast?

I think that most Americans would find that setting and menu very familiar.

Breaking News - Pride Night will take place in the Jomtien Complex aka Supertown on Saturday July 18 2026.
SWING Pattaya just released the news in conjunction with the Supertown The Palace bar owner.

Yesterday, SWING Pattaya announced a collaboration with the Hard Rock Cafe (Pattaya Beach) that when you order their gay-licious yummy:

Beyond The Clouds Rainbow Cheesecake

30% of the price will be donated by the Hard Rock Cafe to SWING Pattaya.

 

 

Today I had to go into Pattaya City to run some errands, so I had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and after my lunch I ordered the Rainbow Cheesecake. Note that technically this Rainbow Cheesecake is only available in the hotel portion of the complex but the wonderful team in the Hard Rock Cafe managed to bring me one and it was truly delicious - gay-licious.  The Rainbow Cheesecake is available through 31 August 2026.

I was very happy to support this worthwhile cause, especially since SWING Pattaya has decided to sponsor the Jomtien Complex Pride Night on Saturday July 18, 2026.
