I am pretty free. I'll be in and out of LA on weekends but week days are OK. January gets much better. What are first week of January? Is that a good time for others?

Do you get the current episodes of the Showtime series as they appear in the USA? I am addicted to Dexter and just love the show and watch it weekly. You can't download it on ITunes until after the season is over on Showtime but I have been watching it weekly as I love it. Another great show from Fox is Glee. I think it is my favorite this season.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. What did you do in LOS? I am very thankful for everyone I have met over the years through this site and in LOS. I am especially thankful for my boyfriend as he is out of the hospital and I have so happy he is OK and back to his normal joking self. My last LOS in Thailand, I had dinner with a friend in Jomtien and it was amazing. It was much better than the home cooked meal I had in LA this week!

The BF in Thailand had Dengue Fever for 10 days. It was sudden and it really kicked his ass. He was in Thai hospital for 10 days. I didn't find out about it for 5 days as he was not able to communicate or get his phone for the first 5. When I did talk to him I also spoke to his doctor and nurse every day to keep an eye to make sure things were going OK. I almost flew there but he assured me that he would be OK. He was but it was after a 10 days stay at 2 different hospitals. The cost for the 10 days, 11k baht. I wonder what the same treatment would have been had I moved him to Bangkok Pattaya? He wanted to stay close to his family and in a Thai hospital so that was OK with me. I am just glad he was OK because he had 104 and over fever for a bit. The doctors said it was touch and go and he did not even get out of bed for 5-6 days. He was severely dehydrated. I have spoken to him on the phone every day since as he is precious to me and I guess this was a wake up call for me as well. Anyone ever had this Dengue Fever?

Missing LOS, I can do little in Los Angeles other than date a Thai guy or get a Thai Massage. I find the Thai guys here much different that in LOS and most are pretty fem. So, I have my bi-weekly massage from a Thai lady. She is excellent and it gives me a good reminder of how much I miss Thailand when I am away. Any others that don't get to live in paradise have ways to jog your memory?

I have had friends stay here and they loved it. I want the BF and I to stay here on my next trip to LOS. I am curious if anyone has taken a BF there and how the experience was? We have 2 logins. One for main site and one for forum. When you log in with main site it automatically logs you into the forum. We have set them to be the same time frame. The reason is that many would log into the site and go to forum and then go back to site and log out but remain logged into the forum. This was not a good situation. We have to have them both the same. Daddy's site is forum only. There is no other login needed. Ours is. We need to have them synched for security reasons. I know it is a pain for those that want to stay logged in for weeks at a time but the process should not take more than a few seconds.

"It is with great regret that we must inform you that effective immediately, the operations of Window Media LLC and United Media LLC have closed down." It asked employees to return Wednesday, adding, "Please bring boxes and/or containers that will allow you to collect all your personal belongings at one time." And with that, Douglas-Brown lost her job at Atlanta, Georgia-based Southern Voice -- the South's main newspaper for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities -- where she has worked for more than 12 years. Southern Voice, which was in print for more than 20 years and had a 100,000 circulation, was one of several gay newspapers and magazines, including the Washington Blade and South Florida Blade, that were shut down Monday when their parent companies, Window Media and United Media, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. "Certainly we knew finances were tight, but none of us were expecting this today," said Douglas-Brown, who spent her day greeting staffers at the office so they wouldn't find the note alone. Calls to corporate offices of the parent companies were not immediately returned Monday. Douglas-Brown said that an investment group, Avalon Equity Fund, owned the majority of Window Media, the country's largest gay and lesbian newspaper publisher. She said employees had heard that Avalon was in receivership with the federal Small Business Administration, which allows the agency to sell the company's assets to satisfy its loans. I saw this thread and got interested and saw this movie over the weekend. It was a great movie although it was VERY hard to watch at times. The acting was amazing. The director did a great job. This is something that you need to see.
