Personally I hope the military stay back and not get involved at all but too often they have been called in to end the protests with tragic consequences, it would be nice if all this could be sorted peacefully but at the moment I do see the protests as an endless circle. The sad part of it is that the Thai people that just want to get on with their lives are the ones being affected in the long term. We live in hope for a peaceful resolution to all the protests.

Booking my flights today for my trip, mid May to mid June which also includes my birthday that I am looking at celebrating at Hero with a 4 hands treat, 4 "hopefully" glorious weeks in Bangkok with a short side trip to Pattaya.

Did this once before in the Philippines with a bar girl, didn't really feel like having sex but just wanted some company for a while, we had a good night out and she could relax knowing that it would end without her having to bare her body. She was happy and so was I, I have no doubt I would do it again as there are those occasions that I just like to talk with a local and get to know them a bit better as a normal person and not one that sells sex for a living.

That's my view of Thailand at the moment and has been for some time now, you have the current mob led by Suthep that want the govt out, the next govt will have another mob that won't be happy and they will hold mass protests to oust them. Red shirts v one lot and yellow shirts against the other lot et, wonder just how many more coloured shirt mobs will rise if they aren't happy with an elected govt? Never the less I am still planning and booking my holiday for May, I know things can move slowly in Asia but it should be sorted to a certain degree by then, maybe the military will get jack of them all and move in again.

xiluzer, thanks for such a wonderful trip report, it's because of this report and the words from vinapu that have convinced me to finally pay a visit (or many visits) to Hero when I go back to Bangkok for my next holiday. I hope to strike it lucky and find a talented top there on my first visit but if not then I will have to try again and keep trying until I do, 4 hands massage and extras with two talented tops sounds good and the advice of others to choose one boy and let him pick the other is well noted. I just hope that when I post of my experience I can do half as good as you have in your post.

Won't be until April / mid year but guaranteed it will be posted and it will be a trip of firsts.

Not a lot yet but come my next trip I am foreseeing some of my long held fantasies will be fulfilled with some masseurs at Hero.

Thanks for the trip report, I missed out on Hero last trip but have put it at the top of my agenda for the next trip, I too am one of those that a bit uncomfortable with having to pick from the line ups but understand it may be the best way to get the guy you desire.

I missed out on Hero massage on my last trip but have been reading some good posts on it recently so will be going there on my next trip for sure, thanks for the trip report.

Cheers abang, what I may do is look for some sort of external charge that I can slip the battery in to then put the battery bak into the phone. I would like to try and keep this one to use on my trips to Thailand so that I can keep my good phone safe at home, that way if I get drunk and lose it the older phone is lost and not the expensive good one. I'll have a look around at MBK to see what's around.

Well that is Apple all over, they like to dictate as to what their "customers" can and can't do with "their" products.

What about phone repairers. I've a good phone that is not charging (have used a new battery and different chargers with the same result) and I would like to see if I can get it fixed without paying a small fortune. Prefer in Bngkok.

Tried this one on my last trip, had walked past hundreds of times and now I just wonder why I didn't go in earlier. Nice ambience, music and the food is truly delicious and at a reasonable price too, this restaurant is now on my to do list every time I visit Bangkok.

In my view it is greed that catch people in these scams.
