  1. For me the answer is yes but maybe a smaller scale of Chiang Mai, definitely not smokey bad air like Chiang Mai (there's no burning season in Baguio) but the down town area does suffer a bit from vehicle exhaust pollution at times. The vehicle pollution is mostly the reason I stay at hotels outside the city centre but it's nowhere near as bad as Manila, the problem down town is that it is the lowest part of the city and hence where it accumulates the most. I will add that it doesn't have the entertainment / bars like Chiang Mai (or Manila and Bangkok) and that has kept a lot of people away (both straight and gay), hence why I think of it as a nice quiet lifestyle away from the rat race.
  2. My choice is Baguio, it's maybe not everyones choice but my reasons for liking it (and dislikes) Yes it's kind of remote (hell, a 5 hour bus ride to Manila isn't that painful) A nice relaxed lifestyle can be had there, for me that is I have found the people up there to be very friendly Rates good on safety Has a good average daily temperature all year long and doesn't get stinking hot* Get out of the city centre and the air is clean and fresh For medical there is a private hospital if a person doesn't fancy the public hospital (or a bus ride to Manila) Makes a good base for travelling around the northern parts of Luzon, also a good base for hiking into the mountains Everything I need is up there The food is fresh and good, most fruit and vegetables are grown locally Dislikes Rain, when it rains it really rains and sometimes for days on end, some rain is ok but seriously it can get a bit much* Has become over populated, it was never meant to have such a big population Along with the population comes the traffic woes, on holidays the traffic can be horrendous as everyone fancies going to Baguio at holiday time and by car I'm currently not there 😮‍💨
  3. I do remember a definite mood killer at the old Bonny massage, quite a reasonable looking guy with a nice body said he was a top and ready to go (go shopping maybe nothing else though) so chose him. Massage was so ordinary it was bordering on poor, limpest cock around and not that big either so the afters were non existent and I left there very disappointed. Made up for that disappointment by going to Adonis early evening, hot guy with a hot body and a big hard cock that got me back in the mood 🤩
  4. The main mood killers for me are bad hygiene (bad breath, body odour, not washing etc), those horrid silicone beads in the penis and yes those that just want to use their phones.
  5. I've had numerous meals at Sarica and thought it good but for me I prefer The Happy Beer Garden, a much better atmosphere there.
  6. Well done Oz and company, real happy we're back online, shows just how important it is to keep a back up ready just in case.
  7. I've been looking at Thai Airways Perth / Bangkok fares for early November and at the moment the cheapest business class is about $4100 Australian but will have to wait until June to make my booking, I only look at business because now days as I just hate economy cattle class. Hoping the fares don't jump too much between now and the time I book but if it does I will just have to suck it up. Qantas and Jetstar (2 crap airlines) have already started dropping some routes (domestic ones mainly), mostly the not so busy ones but they will likely be looking at some other routes but I did hear something about reduction in international flight frequency on some routes.
  8. Be greedy and feel it both ways 😋
  9. I usually go for dinner about 6pm to avoid the crowds then move around a bit after that, not a big gogo or show bar person (small beer bars are more my liking) or a night owl really so back at the hotel by 10 / 10:30pm either with or without company. Most of my activities are done during the daytime, exercise and touristy stuff in the morning, massage and happy time in the afternoon.
  10. Thanks @jimmie50 for the report especially about Ganymede, was a rather nice description of the masseur (Ben) who sounds very nice indeed ☺️
  11. Nice report, thanks for posting and reaffirming my thoughts on Ganymede. Ganymede has always been high on my list of massage shops (along with Arena, Senso and Prince) and can't wait to get back there. @vinapu his advice is the best and works the best for me "go and see for yourself", I find it part of the adventure and discovery, sure sometimes there is disappointment but more often than not a very enjoyable experience 😉
  12. I had this experience with one of the masseurs at Nine Spa and it was his idea that we connect after hours, his service in the massage shop was very good but his after hours service was exceptional 👌 To top it off he had the perfect body and cock for my tastes 😀
  13. My go to place in Vietnam was Nha Trang but it has been a long time since my last visit, I will get back there one day and it will be interesting to see the changes. One of which is the nice hotel I used to stay at (directly opposite the best beach there) has been knocked down and some ugly multi story thing built in its place. Heading down to breakfast in the mornings you could look out over the bay and the water was like a millpond, it was so flat and inviting for the morning swim.
  14. Thanks for sharing vinapu, always love reading your reports 👍
  15. I was just reading yesterday that Anutin isn't ruling out a coalition with Pheu Thai, now that would be nuts and dare I say it, going by the voting numbers it's not what the Thai voters want.
