August 14, 201511 yr After a few day in the Boystown area, time to try something different. Waking up or going to bed with a view of the beach or sitting on the balcony looking out on to the beach seems quite appealing. A lot of reviews about beach front properties state that they are old and in dire need of renovation. Any recommendations for hotels LOCATED ON THE BEACH which can provide the above mentioned appeal?

August 15, 201511 yr Author Moses, you are correct, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO BE IN A HIGH RISE HOTEL! Height is not my thing. The hotel does not have to be a gay place to stay. I am just looking for a nice beach front hotel with a view of the beach. Thanks for the suggestions. I will now check them out.
August 15, 201511 yr Additionally DD Inn is at 90° to the beach. I imagine the rooms do not face over the beach, but suppose there is some sort of beach view from the edge of the balcony. This is low budget. I've never stayed there and have no intention of doing so. However, I'm adding it in here for completeness.

It is a much larger complex but right on the beachfront Pricy, but from the outside looks to be pretty nicely outfitted with a good pool, etc. Not a specifically "gay" place. Mixed reviews on Tripadvisor http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g293919-d3819881-Reviews-Welcome_World_Resort_Spa-Pattaya_Chonburi_Province.html I have never stayed there...have not even been inside one of the rooms...but it is an option.

The adjacent Avalon (in front of VT5C) I believe is just a tad cheaper.
