What is the current state of the Bangkok bar scene? Reading this and other forums the messages appear to be mixed. There was a comment here that last night Jupiter was packed but I have read that Soi Twilight has been pretty dead. What about the Tawan? Comments from recent/current visitors and residents welcome.

I was in Tawan last week and it was busy during show times. Plenty to choose from. Had a good off.

Dreamboys now 480 bt for drink. Leave it for the mugs.

Other go go bars 400 bt...bit too steep for me.

Beer bars 120, but all done and dusted in Soi Twilight now by 1.30am. Whole street in darkness. Nothing like it used to be, don't believe the threads that tell you it's all back to normal there.

Regarding prices, there is room for negotiation (except for Screwboys 300 and Dream Boys 480 it seems). We (nowadays I don't go alone) got in for 250 or 300 baht each at Classic Boys or X-Size.

 

From recent visits to X-Size and X-Boys, number and quality of boys ok, and shows with nudity and erections.

I just returned from Bangkok and bars are alive and well.

Tawan emptying after show with lots of boys available left till close at 1.

Jupiter packed for the show ,but at midnight bar is empty of both clients and boys with 4-5 left on the stage.

 

XBoys and Fresh Boys not packed but still several clients and lots of boys to choose from.

 

Screwboys for 1 a.m show packed with standing room only and no wonder , full f.... show with participants circulating among us voyeurs looking for the tips.
