As a pilot I love Airplane. Most "airplane" movies, even the ones with good technical advisers, have technical flaws, but Airplane had each and every technical feature "wrong", perhaps not as difficult as almost getting the features correct but, because I have seen none that do, I give this movie full credit for being "backwardsly" correct.

RIP, Mr. Neilsen.

Best regards,

RA1

As a Canadian, I never found him to be amusing. Some may have found his humour funny but I thought it was juvenile to the point of almost being embarrassing. The commercials he did in latter years were so corny as to make one groan. But I guess a paycheque is a paycheque. However I'm sure he was a nice guy - just not my cup of tea.

Me too.

Not in the States. Down here it's a paycheck.
