April 2, 201115 yr Did you know that the actress who portrayed Yeta on "The Nanny" was the same person who was Millie Helper on the Dick VanDyke Show? Ann Morgan Guilbert

April 2, 201115 yr lol. I didn't know that. I love "The Nanny". I was so happy when Fran and Maxwell got married. I couldn't stand the Nanny - Fran whats-her-name had a voice that shattered all my Waterford. Maxwell did have a nice townhouse, however - I could have moved right in. On another note - I had forgotten to log in this morning but the pictures still came up. What gives? Huh??
April 2, 201115 yr On another note - I had forgotten to log in this morning but the pictures still came up. What gives? Huh?? Zip the picture will show to anyone because its posted via url not as a upload. The photos that are uploaded like the ones you post on most nights can only be seen if you are logged in. Lurker while not a big fan of the Nanny I am a big fan of useless tv trivia so thanks for the post
April 2, 201115 yr Her voice is atrocious. I don't think I watched more than about a minute of that show. I'm sure she would be said to know that, and cry all the way to the bank.
April 3, 201115 yr Did you know James Marsden was on the first episode of The Nanny. He is in Part 2 of the pilot episode. I'm a bit like Fran so I wonder people will like if I show up at one of Hooville events. April 4, 201115 yr Did you know that long before she was on Mad Men, Christina Hendricks was a cast member of Firefly?
April 5, 201115 yr Did you know that Nicholas Lea actually had a guest appearance on the X-Files BEFORE he appeared on the same show as that hottie Alex Krycek?

April 7, 201115 yr Who will have the first correct response??? Name 4 spinoffs from "All in the Family"... Crossfire The Glenn Beck Show The O'Reily Factor The Tonight Show With Jay Leno
April 7, 201115 yr Crossfire The Glenn Beck Show The O'Reily Factor The Tonight Show With Jay Leno LOL Biboy. You are nuts! I know the Jeffersons. Is Maude one? That leaves two.
April 7, 201115 yr Shit. I thought he wanted four spinoffs from The Adams Family - in which case, my guess, would have been right on the money.
April 7, 201115 yr Archie Bunker's Place or Archie's Place. Can't remember the name, but it was set in some pub and happened after Edith died.
April 7, 201115 yr Active Members Norman Lear was definitely prolific. Other links in the All in the Family chain were Good Times (a spin-off of Maude) and Gloria (a spin-off of Archie Bunker's Place). I well remember the show where cousin Maude came to take care of the Bunkers when all had come down with the flu. Archie asked her what the awful stuff was in the bowl she handed him for breakfast. With her impeccable timing, Bea Arthur told him, "Cream of Wheat with cheese. It's light, but it binds." Good times.

Also, Bea Arthur was the BEST. No one comes close to her comedic timing and straight-faced delivery.
April 8, 201115 yr If Bea Arthur had done porn I might have been straight. Well, I wouldn't go that far, BBB.
April 8, 201115 yr Come on... who amongst us has not at one point in time masturbated while thinking about Golden Girls era Bea Arthur and albino dwarfs? There's no shame in admitting it.
April 8, 201115 yr Active Members That chart is impressive! Please tell me you made it yourself. I should have noted it came from a Wikipedia article on Norman Lear. Also, Bea Arthur was the BEST. No one comes close to her comedic timing and straight-faced delivery. So true. If Bea Arthur had done porn I might have been straight. She once famously said, " . . . I've done everything but rodeo and porn." Bet she'd have given both audiences their money's worth.
April 8, 201115 yr One of my all time Dorothy favorites: Rose: Can I ask a stupid question? Dorothy: Better than anyone I know. I use that all the time.
