July 21, 201115 yr I love Glen Close and Damages and they have gotten some great characters over the years like Martin Short, Ted Danson, etc. This season, John Goodman seems to be one of the core characters. I loved him in the first season of Treme and wish he was still there. I was surprised when I watched Damages last night and John Goodman was there! Welcome back to a great show John! We missed you!
July 22, 201115 yr John Goodman is one of my hero's...I loved him in Barton Fink, Raising Arizona, Big Lebowski amongst other films.
July 25, 201115 yr Active Members I've never cared for him in film, mostly because they're often not my kinds of movies, but post-Rosanne he's done some damn good TV. I loved his short stint on West Wing, and agree he was great and is missed on Treme. I watched and liked the first couple seasons of Damages but drifted away, guess I have to watch again now!
September 2, 201115 yr Author Great show this season! Watch it. John Goodman is great. And, the addition of Judd Hirsch has been wonderful. I always loved him as well. Naturally, Glenn Close is phenomenal.
